For Google Chrome, we are today using Registry keys to automaticly deploy browser extensions in our IT estate, as described in https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/external_extensions

Would it be possible to deploy Chrome extensions to the new Edge browser in a similar way?

That would be really great, since we are today facing some challenges with the Microsoft Store for Business-way of deploying extensions.

Hi, I too would like to know about this. Currently we install extension in chrome via registry.

https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/external_extensions#registry

When the user logs into chrome, chrome gives a notification to user about new extension & provide a way to enable it.

This is a very good user experience. Would edge inside will provide something similar?

I'm also very interested in this.
