Very grey/dark video quality on my screen when making a video call (Teams for iOS)

Hello,

New issue on my personal Teams when in a video call the video very grey/dark to me on my screen (both my video feed in the corner and the person I'm calling's video) however the colour quality is fine for the person receiving the call.

I'm using Teams for iOS. So far I have reset my laptop, deleted and reinstalled the Teams app, signed out and back in multiple times and deleted my teams cache but it still isn't working. It literally changed overnight so don't know what has happened.

The only way I can describe it, is as if someone has highlighted the screen when I'm in a video call...you know when you highlight a picture on a webpage and the colour goes hazy/grey. I even tried changing the theme from dark to light but in light mode it's even more prominent.

Any suggestions would be great- thanks!

To add - all other apps, (WhatsApp, FaceTime) the brightness is fine when using the camera so it is isolated just to teams and only happens when my camera is on.

ListeningArea19 I think I found a fix. I followed the instructions in this article. Scroll down & you'll find how to clear Cache for iOS. When I cleared mine previously, I used the Classic Teams method I think which is why it didn't work originally. Hope it works for you 🙂

Im having the same issue. I think its a QM issue and a bug of Teams.

Dark mode makes the image of me and every participant too dark.

"Normal" mode washes the color out of me and every participant.
