Very grey/dark video quality on my screen when making a video call (Teams for iOS)
Where are the answers to this excellent, excellent question??? I am having exactly the same issue in the same environment!
Im having the same issue. I think its a QM issue and a bug of Teams.
Dark mode makes the image of me and every participant too dark.
"Normal" mode washes the color out of me and every participant.

QuestionAsker I think I found a fix. I followed the instructions in https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/troubleshoot/teams-administration/clear-teams-cache. Scroll down & you'll find how to clear Cache for iOS. When I cleared mine previously, I used the Classic Teams method I think which is why it didn't work originally. Hope it works for you 🙂

xxhelenxx I’ve done that already
rm -r ~/Library/Application\ Support/Microsoft/Teams
rm -rf ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.com.microsoft.teams
rm -rf ~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.teams2
and deleted Teams manually and redownloaded it form Microsoft. No change, still a „greyish picture overlay“ for myself and every other participant in teams and a „dark picture overlay“ if I enable dark mode on macOS.
The participants tell me I’m looking like I always do. So it has to be something client related, because only I can see the problem.
in every other program my webcam looks firm without „overlay / opacity“

QuestionAsker When you typed in rm -rf ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.com.microsoft.teams and pressed enter and then followed it with
rm -rf ~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.teams2 and pressed enter in Terminal and then reopened teams (without deleting it), had it signed you out?I didn't need to actually delete and re-install teams after doing the above. I clicked on the application after and saw I was now signed out. I signed back in, made a call and the issue has resolved itself.
