I screenshare a lot in my position; I call the coworker (Phone/Headset) and train them on what I need them to look at. I am in a large office building, and the automatic calling of the receivers' PC is disruptive, as I do not was the whole office to hear my conversation or have people hear my trainee. I see no way to disable the team auto-call once I start to screen share or in the Options. All my coworkers feel this frustration as well. I do use the computer microphone/speaks aspect when working from home, but would disable it totally, if it would stop the auto-call. I do not want it to affect meeting invites to others, as others around the country can use their PC speak/microphone, if they want. Please advise.3Views0likes0CommentsCannot login to Teams on iphone
Hi All, I am using Teams with a personal Microsoft account (Microsoft 365 family plan). I am successfully signed into Teams on my Mac computer and can use if with no problems. However, I cannot sign into the app with the account on the iphone app. After entering my password or going through Authenticator, I receive a message: No Teams orgs yet Looks like you're not using Teams yet. Check that you've been invited by the org you're trying to sign in to. You can also set up Teams for your org by selecting Create new account. I have already searched extensively but couldn't find any solutions that worked. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times. I am on am iphone 16 pro with the latest version of ios installed. Any ideas? Thanks.2.8KViews1like6CommentsFeature Request: Custom Status Labels for Calendar Events (e.g., 'In a Training')
Hey Teams Community! π I have a small but impactful feature idea and would love your votes and feedback. --- π΄ The Problem Right now, every calendar block in Microsoft Teams shows the same status to colleagues: "In a Meeting." Whether you're in a 10-minute standup or a 3-hour mandatory training β it all looks identical. This creates ambiguity, leads to unnecessary interruptions, and doesn't reflect how modern workplaces actually function. --- π‘ The Feature Request Allow users to assign a custom status label to a calendar event when creating it β visible to colleagues who check availability β without exposing private event details. Something as simple as a dropdown when creating an event: β In a Meeting (default) π In a Training π― Focus Time π In a Workshop The chosen label would appear: β In the chat status indicator β On the calendar availability hover card β When someone tries to @mention or call you --- β Why This Matters - Reduces interruptions during high-focus or learning sessions - Helps colleagues make smarter decisions about whether to wait or escalate - Especially valuable for schools, hospitals, training teams, and L&D departments - Lightweight to implement β no privacy concerns since it doesn't reveal event titles --- π³οΈ If you've ever been interrupted during a training because someone thought you were just "in a meeting" β please upvote and share your experience below! Let's get this on the Teams roadmap. π Tags: Feature Request, Calendar, Status, Availability, Training, Teams, Microsoft Teams77Views0likes2CommentsUnable to remove old account sing up form Teams on Mac OS
I cannot remove an old sing account from Teams on Mac OS. I have to delete the keychain, I delete the temp folder, and remove and reinstall Teams, and the old account is still there. I have a case open with the Microsoft team, and they cannot figure it out. Where is the login info store, and why has Microsoft not provided a solution where users can remove accounts as easily as they can add? Please help!33KViews2likes41CommentsUser with intermittent poor performance in Teams
We have a Dell laptop user who has intermittent poor performance with Teams. Video and audio get laggy. Replaced all of his hardware with newer equipment, made sure drivers were all up to date, yet the problem continues. Clearing the Teams cache works most of the time. This doesn't happen with most other users in our company. Any ideas where to focus our efforts to fix this?144Views1like1CommentTeams on macOS taking up CPU and lagging
I'm not sure if it's because of Tahoe, but Teams will take up 65-90% of my CPU during calls, while only using 0.1% when not on a call. This has been present in the dev betas, 26.0 and now 26.1. If I have other apps running, they or Teams can sometimes lag or glitch. Even with nothing else running, Teams can slow to a crawl.470Views2likes1CommentShared Number Group Channel Operator Options Missing in Microsoft Teams 260043.403
After updating to Microsoft Teams version 260043.403, options in Group Channels related to shared number / calling queue operator availability appear to have changed. Previously, when selecting a channel associated with a calling queue, operators could: View a list of all queue operators See each operatorβs availability for that specific calling queue (not general Teams presence) Change their own availability for that queue With this update, the ability for operators to change their availability now appears to be located under Settings β Calls. However, the channel-level view that displayed the availability of other operators seems to have been removed entirely. Can someone confirm whether the operator availability view within Group Channels has been deprecated, or if it is now accessible elsewhere in Teams?66Views0likes0CommentsTeam and Channels continually disappearing from Teams App
Can anyone advise what else we can try to ensure the list of Teams/Channels a user is part of appears in their Teams app list please? A user is having a recurring problem where Teams are missing from their list. They are still Members/Owners of those Teams. We have continually reset the app, cleared the cache, checked the app version, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and the issue resolves for a short period of time and then it comes back again. What are we missing? What can we do to permanently resolve this? Is this a Teams app issue or is it linked to the computer?652Views0likes0Comments
