Masking updates in channels?

Hi!

Is there a way to mask the updates in the middle of the channels? I'm trying to be as clean as possible for my students, and every little thing I do gets listed in the middle of the screen.

Here is an example:

Thank you!

Chris.

  • Chris_Calli It looks like other messages related to the channel (like renaming it and changing description) will still be posted in the channel. I don't have this feature in any GA tenant yet so I can't test it.

If you still think it looks to messy in your channels I suggest that you add a uservoice request here: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/

@ThereseSolimeno This is actually NOT a solution. My original question is NOT about the messages about users joining and leaving a team in the general channel.

My original question is about updates in all the other channels. Here is another screenshot:

Thank you! And how about the other channels? (My screenshot doesn't show the General channel...)

Here are more screenshots of my other channels.

      Thanks again!
