To be able to record a meeting one must have the presenter role so you should be good by making the other attendees when using the automatic recording feature https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/roles-in-a-teams-meeting-c16fa7d0-1666-4dde-8686-0a0bfe16e019
For the other part look at the lobby options https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/change-participant-settings-for-a-teams-meeting-53261366-dbd5-45f9-aae9-a70e6354f88e

ChristianJBergstrom I saw your answer from Feb 20, 2023 to this question. You said only presenters can start the automatic recording by joining the meetings. The problem is that everyone in the meeting needs to have the ability to share their screen, but only the organizer/co-organizers should receive the recording in their OneDrive. Our company has strict policy about Meeting recordings, and to have them go to the first attendee goes against that policy. Anything you can suggest would be greatly appreciated. 🙂
