Every build EdgeDev AFTER 142.0.3568 crash after launch
As title said i'm forced to use only 142.0.3568 version, i've started to see issue with 142.0.3581and also todays release 142.0.3595.7 show same problem.... is there any solution? Need information on how to pay past due Gamepass balance.
I apologize since this is more than likely going to be in the wrong section. TBH, it took me entirely too long to even find somewhere even remotely close to where this should go. Anyway... I used up all of my rewards points in order to get a gift card to pay the past due balance. As you can see in the pictures, I should have more than enough to cover it yet there is absolutely nowhere to use the funds to pay it off? I'm...probably missing something simple...or insanely convoluted, neither would surprise me! Thanks for reading! And again, apologies if this is ...wrong place.
Edge has hijacked PDFs
I have it set to always download PDFs. its not doing this. I am getting a bar across the top and the PDF opens in edge and I then have to download it from there. Acrobat is set as the default app for PDFs. How can I get it back to just downloading PDFs? If this is yet another ploy by microsoft such as 'use recommended browser settings' pop up every month then I am out, its the straw that broke the camels back.
Adblock extensions stop working Edge iOS on clearing browsing data
Ghostery and uBlock Origin Lite are available on Edge iOS as MV3 extensions for ad blocking but they stops working when Clear Browsing Data option is clicked for either time period, Last hour or All Time For making them work, Edge needs to be restarted or extensions need to be re-enabled I request Edge iOS team to fix this issueWhy are some websites buggy with Edge?
Hello, I have been having this issue with a lot of websites with edge lately, at least for a few months. I've tried, resetting to default settings, reinstalling edge, and deleting cookies and cache and this error occurs. It happens a lot of with youtube where I get buggy comments like in the photo with the loading circle and then a lot of comments won't load past a certain point. It's driving me crazy and I'm afraid of having to switch browsers soon, I'm hoping somebody maybe knows what's going on and can assist. I tried it without extensions, same result as well. For other websites sometimes it doesn't load and I have to fully refresh the page like reddit. When this loading glitch happens with youtube, I have to make a new tab then it fixes itself but bugs out after a few videos again.

I can’t log in to my outlook account while connected to my home network, which has the default configurations from my Mexican ISP. I already tried multiple devices connected to the same network. I need to use my cellular data instead., which allows me to log in correctly. I’m not using a vpn or anything like that and it’s been happening since a couple of months ago. This is the message I’m getting: “please retry with a different device or other authentication method to sign in”
Edge 140.0.3485.81 "crash" Excel run in non-interactive mode
No idea what's going on there. Edge versions before 140.0.3485.81 without a problem with Excel non interactive mode, now with .81 it doesn't work anymore. i have a PowerShell Script that use the Excel COM-Object, it check Server Parameters and save this infos to a .xlsx file. Now with .81 Excel not save the file and the Sheduled Task remains in status is Running. The Script write also a TXT-File. In this i can see, that all servers check. Then i have restore the system (OS Windows Server 2025) with BackUp this monday, now with .66 the script work without a problem! I update .66 --> .81, try the script again and i have the problem again. :-) I try the same things in our Testdomain with a Windows Server 2016, Excel and myPowerShell Script. with .66 no problems with .81 Eexcel not save the file. We tried: turn off every restriction from Intune - same error. add sites to Edge allowList - same error We cannot find any decription or help on registerAsChildFrameAck. I am using Microsoft Edge version 140.0.3485.66 on macOS. In this version, the Extensions menu button (the puzzle icon) is forced to stay visible on the toolbar, and the toggle in Appearance / Customize toolbar settings to hide this button has disappeared. I use some extensions, but I don't want the extension (puzzle) icon to show on the browser interface. You just need to roll back this feature to the state it was in the previous version. Keeping the Edge interface clean is a very good reason why I prefer Edge. I like using Edge instead of Google Chrome, and this is an important reason! I don't want you to make it more and more like Chrome!Why can't I find the option "Send tab to your devices" in the tab menu?
I was using Edge stable Version 140.0.3485.66 (Official build) (64-bit), and it's up to date. I was looking for an option "Send tab to your devices" in the tab menu. Someone told me that try using preview version of Edge, and it worked. But I'm having problems during sync on Edge beta preview. The Edge beta preview is a brand-new install application. Unfortunately, it can't sync extensions data and open tabs from Edge standard that I'm using. So, I have to re-configure every extension manually. And imports all the scripts installed in tpmk and re-configure them manually. Chrome extension managed storage policy
Hi there, I've developed a chrome extension and now we want to deploy it using Intune. Force install of extension works great but I can't pass managed data to the extension. Here is the scheme: { "type": "object", "properties": { "apiKey": { "title": "API Key", "description": "An API key to communicate with server.", "type": "string" } } } This is the policy that I created in Intune: OMA-URI: ./Device/Vendor/MSFT/Policy/Config/Chrome~Policy~googlechrome~3rdparty~extensions~eagefwefpbjpewefliifpgfgoewfknnmk~policy Data type: String Value: {"apiKey":"mykey123"} But it doesn't appear in chrome://policy and when I get policies in my code with: const result = await chrome.storage.managed.get(null); The result is empty! What is the problem here? And how to fix it?
How to disable confirmation pop-up in Edge Browser when opening many tabs
I have bookmarks arranged in multiple folders, varying from 10 to 500 or more links per folder. Whenever I try to click on the bookmark folder to open all of them at once, I always get this Pop-up, which is very annoying to me (I was ignoring that pop-up for more than a year). Is there any built-in setting to disable or increase the limit? P.S: FYI, I am on a very high-end laptop(M4 pro with increased RAM & SSD) and due to my use case, I have to regularly, almost every day open many links
Feature Request: Role-Based Separation in Microsoft Edge
Description: As a professional who wears multiple hats — Operations, Architecture, Courseware, etc. — I rely heavily on Microsoft Edge to organize my digital workspace. While Edge Profiles offer some separation, they fall short when it comes to true contextual isolation. Signing into multiple profiles with the same Microsoft account causes bookmarks, extensions, and settings to merge, defeating the purpose of separation and creating privacy and productivity issues. Proposal: Introduce a “Roles” feature within a single Edge identity that allows users to create and switch between distinct work contexts without data bleed. Hello. I have an issue with my MSI GE75 laptop running Windows 11 with an RTX 2070. When I use a second monitor Dell connected via HDMI, content inside Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome starts flickering and lagging. Firefox works fine on the same setup. The laptop is MSI GE75 with RTX 2070 and Intel iGPU. The second monitor is a Dell. Browsers affected are Edge and Chrome. Browser not affected is Firefox. I set Edge and Chrome to run on the RTX 2070 in Windows graphics settings. All drivers are updated. All settings are on maximum. The issue is flickering and micro freezes while scrolling or playing videos on the second monitor. This does not happen on the main laptop display. I already tried switching Edge and Chrome to High performance GPU RTX 2070 in Windows settings with no effect. I updated NVIDIA and Intel drivers with no effect. I disabled hardware acceleration in Edge and Chrome which reduces the issue but performance drops. I set both monitors to the same refresh rate 60 Hz but the problem persists. Since the problem only happens with Chromium based browsers and only on the second monitor, I suspect it could be related to how Microsoft rendering pipeline interacts with Chromium hardware acceleration. Firefox which uses a different rendering backend works fine. My questions are: Why does this only happen with Chromium based browsers but not Firefox? Is this related to how Windows and Chromium handle GPU acceleration on a second monitor? Is there a known fix or workaround to make Edge and Chrome work properly on the second monitor? Hello. How do I disable the high contrast theme in Edge 138+? but not disable on Windows 10/11. I currently have the official build 140. I managed to disable high contrast for websites, but the Edge GUI is still completely white and gray. Before build 138, it was possible to change the theme, but since build 138, it's not possible? Is this Google's or Microsoft's idea? and how to fix it? because I want to install classic theme from Edge/Chrome store.Edge for Android No Longer Opens Google Calendar Links in External App
I'm reporting a regression in Microsoft Edge for Android that has disrupted my workflow on a Samsung Galaxy A9+ tablet running Android 15.0. Until recently, Edge correctly handed off supported links—such as “Add to Google Calendar” URLs—to the Google Calendar app, in accordance with Android’s intent routing and app defaults. Now, Edge traps these links inside its internal WebView, even when: - “Open supported links” is enabled for the Google Calendar app - “Block opening external apps” is disabled in Edge settings - No site-specific override exists for calendar.google.com When I tap a calendar link, Edge briefly flashes a system prompt asking whether to open in the external app or stay in Edge—but this prompt immediately disappears, and the calendar loads inside Edge. This contradicts Android’s expected behavior and breaks previously functional workflows. Notably, .ics files still open correctly in the Calendar app, confirming that system-level routing is intact. The issue appears to be with Edge’s handling of intent-based links, possibly introduced in a recent update. Device: Samsung Galaxy A9+ OS: Android 15.0, OneUI 7.0 Edge Version: 139.0.3405.111 I’m requesting that Microsoft investigate and restore proper external app handling for supported links. This is a serious usability regression, and users should not have to resort to alternate browsers or workarounds to maintain basic interoperability.
