Hi everyone In our organisation, we have limited the apps that can be installed via the Microsoft Store. For some time now, users have been receiving an error message: "This app has been blocked due to the company policy". However, the app can still be installed. What could be the reason for this? Or where can I start troubleshooting? Hi, I have been having issues since the latest beta (1023) update on my PC. Can't start many apps. like written above. I tried running chkdsk /f - fixed some issue but not solved. Tried sfc /scannow (ran it 3 or 4 times) - no change. Tried DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth Also - no change... I am also experiencing DPC Watchdog errors randomly with GSOD. Appreciate if someone can help 🙂 I really don't want to start windows fresh installation.....2.8KViews2likes16Comments"android apps on your pc amazon store" is not available on microsoft store windows 11

Hi there! Today I tried to install to install the "Mixed Reality Link (Preview)" app from the Microsoft Store. Even though my PC meets the system requirements, the "Get" button is greyed out. It seems that more people are having the same issue (https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/mixed-reality-link/mixed-reality-link-coming-very-soon/4355631) when trying to install the app (from https://aka.ms/MRLink or https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9pcnzpd0zw44 ). On my first try, I had Bluetooth disabled, and the page said my PC didn't meet the requirements. I enabled Bluetooth and restarted Microsoft Store, and even though later it said it meets the requirements (as per the screenshot above), the "Get" button is still greyed out. I already visited the following pages, but could not find any information that could help me solve this issue: https://www.meta.com/blog/quest/meta-quest-v72-update-remote-desktop-hand-tracking-keyboard-more/ https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/mixed-reality-link/mixed-reality-link-coming-very-soon/4355631 https://aka.ms/MRLinkGetHelp / https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/about-windows-mixed-reality-link-4155d287-182d-4003-b189-b42a4e357fc5 https://www.meta.com/help/quest/articles/in-vr-experiences/oculus-features/mixed-reality-meta-quest/ Any tips? TL;DR: Via command line, is it possible to trigger all provisioned apps to self update for all user profiles (current and future) even when no one is logged in? We recently noticed that on freshly imaged machines, all of the built-in provisioned apps (Calc, Calendar, Weather, Microsoft Store etc.) are woefully out of date. In reviewing our Task Sequence we used to start the "Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\Automatic App Update" scheduled task, but it appears this scheduled task has disappeared. This is disappointing as we no longer know what command it was executing to trigger the updating of those apps. That said, is there anything that can be done to force all provisioned apps for all user profiles, both those that currently exist and future ones as well?1.1KViews0likes0Comments
