12 TopicsNotifications when file is moved between Teams folders?
Hi, I know how to set up for email notifications when a file is uploaded or edited, but when you move a file to another folder (where you have set up for email notifications) in the same Team you are not getting an email for this moved file. Is it possible to do that in Teams?4.6KViews0likes2CommentsNot getting email notifications for Bookings with me
Our institution has both Bookings and personal Bookings With Me. Previously, when someone scheduled using Bookings with me, the staff would receive an email notification confirming this. Currently, some staff do receive the email notification and some do not. (The person scheduling the appointment always receives a notification and a calendar invite.) The staff not receiving the emails has not set up any special rules, does not have the address blocked, and the emails are not going to the spam or clutter folders. Does anyone know how to fix this?3KViews1like7CommentsSend a automated mail to helpdesk
Hello, I have created a flow where an MS Form will trigger an approval which will trigger an email. The problem is that I want the approval to be generic. I do not have a specific email but anyone designated dynamically in the MS form should be able to approve the request. I tried using service accounts and other combinations. But it won't work other than using my account. Also , the email server only accepts emails from accounts with our domains. So Email Notification V3 feature is also not working. I need urgent help. Please let me know how to achieve this.Control MS Edge Notification Volume
Hello Is there a way to control the notification volume of Microsoft Edge? It looks like it has been bundled into System. I keep system sounds very low, but would like to be able to hear when new mail arrives when logged into outlook.com. At the moment it is a faint notification. Edge does not appear in the Volume Mixer list. What am I missing? Thanks.1.4KViews1like0CommentsSharePoint 2013 email notifications for monthly overdue items
Hello, I am a new / novice SharePoint 2013 user, and have been asked to create an environment for 5 different users to enter monthly updates with data for multiple records (1 user is required to submit monthly updates for 3 items, another for 9 items, another for 5 items, etc. - but each user's required updates are the same each month). I've created a SharePoint list to contain the submissions, and a form to facilitate data entry. What I have been asked to do now is to provide past due reminders to prompt users to enter and submit data if they've missed the due date. My questions are: 1) how do I create past due reminders within SharePoint 2013? Since the data is supposed to reflect the prior month-end, the users are expected to enter data by the 10th of the following month (i.e. March 10 would be the due date for February month-end, April 10th the due date for March month-end, and so on each month). Can such reminders be generated directly from the list that holds the data or do I need to set up tasks and/or workflows? If yes, do I need additional columns in my list? The only date column I currently have in my list is an "as of date", which the user is requested to set to prior month-end when entering data, and no default value, since the list is intended to be updated monthly. Can the routine for sending monthly past due emails be dynamic like a recurring Outlook appointment (i.e. in Outlook, you can have a recurring event the 3rd Tuesday of each month, or the 10th of each month - can SharePoint do something similar rather than having to specify, and then update, every month - April 10, May 10, June 10)? 2) can the reminders be tailored to trigger if any data from a particular user is missing? For example, if user X is responsible to submit data for 5 items every month, if they only submit 4 out of the 5 in one month, can the past due reminder e-mail be triggered that one submission is still missing for the month? Im currently working with a client who loves Planner but dont use Exchange online or Hybrid Exchange so are not getting email notifications. So we thought about using Flow to send notifications using the "When a new task is created" or When a task is assigned to me". The assigned to me appears to only pull tasks from the user creating the connection in flow which is understandable. However when a new task is created its sending an email but there is no Assigned to information in the Trigger Body. So we cant then send an email to that person who has got the new task. Does anyone know a way around this, or how to send email notifications using Flow instead of the OTB which isnt available according to our knowledge.Email Notifications
How do I turn off email notification? I have Teams Pre with the New Teams turned on, which probably labels me as a glutton for punishment. Every single Teams message I get even if I have read and replied to it, generates an email notification saying that this person is trying to get ahold of me. I don't see any way to turn it off.Teams email notifications of missed chats coming from wrong email address?
For the past several days, when some users have missed a chat message in teams and they are setup to receive an email notification, the sending email address of the notification is incorrect. It has always been that these notification emails appear to be sent from the person who sent the original chat message, but now, they are being sent from our global administrator account email. Obviously creating lots of confusion and has broken these users' ability to reply via email. Has something changed, or is this a bug?1KViews0likes7Comments
