Hi everyone, I am not normally an Office 365 Administrator but find myself wearing that hat at a startup. Someone at my company asked if it was possible to update a calendar invite without spamming all the attendees that the meeting invitation has been updated. She often has to schedule meetings on behalf of our CEO and would like to avoid spamming everyone if she does not get the exact details the right the first time. Is this possibleSolved840KViews7likes46CommentsShared Mailbox can have a password and login enabled without license
I'm very much aware of the license requirements for Shared Mailboxes in Exchange Online and for all Shared Mailboxes we always give licensed users access to them. If we need to login to the actual shared mailbox, we assigned them a license. This could be necessary if you also have some 3rd party application that actually need to login to the mailbox and fetch e-mail for some reason. I have recently realized that you CAN actually set a password to a Shared Mailbox. Just go to admin.microsoft.com > Users > Active Users > select the Shared Mailbox > Reset password. After this, you can login with the username/password. Of course, if you access it via portal.office.com you won't see Outlook but if you go directly to outlook.office365.com you will get access to the mailbox. Anyone know anything more about this feature? Limitations? I'm not looking to break the licensing terms, all our physical users for all our customers have their own personal accounts but there are scenarios where you have a 3rd party application accessing the mailbox for some reason.Solved716KViews3likes26CommentsExcel Date Picker
Hello , I would like to add date picker on an excel sheet. The goal is to create an excel file and have this sent to users to fill in. When filling the excel, and click on the start date, a calendar dropdown should appear and users select the date from the calendar so as to eliminate different date format and make it unique across the document. I was able to get a date picker add-in however this wont work because I am sending to users please see below:637KViews0likes13CommentsAll users receive "Your organization needs more information to keep your account secure" when logon
All users receive "Your organization needs more information to keep your account secure" when logon o365 web portal. Users can select "skip for now (XX days until is required)" but it will finally require all users to provide it. I will have some user accounts to use on some applications or devices which must logon without multi-factor authentication and password should never changed. I have checked that the multi-factor authentication page of the "MULTI-FACTOR AUTH STATUS" for all users are disabled.I also checked that the "Self service password reset enabled" is set to "none". I don't have idea why all users still receive such message. How can I disable this message and requirement to all user accounts? Thank you.Solved501KViews1like24Comments
