I'm having an issue for which I can't seem to find a solution. I'm trying to open and save files to a SharePoint Online environment, but Sites are not showing in Word/Excel. I tried on multiple desktops, all running Windows 10 and Office 365 and using the same account. On one desktop I'm able to see my followed Sites, on another I get the message: "There are no sites to show right now". In Windows settings the account is showing up as work or school account. I would really appreciate some help. Thanks! Ramses70KViews0likes8CommentsMicrosoft Office 2019 and 2016 for mac not signing in
hi all I am experiencing a weird issue. we are trying to register an office for mac 2019, we insert the key into setup.office.com, download the installer and install it, and when opening word or any app for the first time, we are presented with a sign in window for activation. the user then enters their respective email address which they used when they created their office.com profile and hit next to be taken to the password page and the loading screen appears and hangs there just spinning indefinitely. I have completely removed all office apps, multiple times, even manually and using Macmaster, searched and removed cached credentials from keychain, even created a new profile and tried, the problem still persists, on at least 3 macs that we are aware of. However, if I try logging in with one of our own office 365 accounts, it works immediately. what is going on?40KViews1like15CommentsPowerShell script to change font of office apps
Hi, We are using Microsoft 365 for Enterprise for delivery office apps to users via Microsoft Intune. Currently the default font for all office apps is Calibri and now users want that it should change to Arial, 11 font. Is there a way in Powershell to make that change. I have been suggested ways to do it with .net objects or Interop. Can someone please share a sample PowerShell script or a full script to make that change. Thanks, Ashish Arya37KViews0likes18CommentsSpreadsheets in Space just became more powerful with a new API in Microsoft Excel

Hello everyone I think it's time for me to vent my frustration about working with multiple work/education accounts on a windows 10 device... First of all, I have 3 Microsoft Accounts (1x Personal; 1x Work; 1x Education) and oh boy, it's very very frustrating to get all these 3 Accounts work together on the same windows 10 device with one Userprofile. Working with my Personal and Work (or Education) account on the same device works fine, no problems, but as soon as I add additionally either my Work or Education Account in the Windows 10 settings under "Account > Email & accounts" things starting to get complicated. Sync issues across every app that uses one of these work/education accounts (classic Office Apps, ToDo, Edge, OneNote) Upload blocks in the office apps (Word, Excel...) & Credential Errors 4x/day a notification toast that my work accounts need to fix... blabla -> I click okay, now fix it -> Accounts fixed -> later in the day, same error occurs... I just want to use all my accounts on the same device with the same Userprofile, I really love the Microsoft 365 Platform but these things driving me crazy. I had a time, in there I worked completely online, but yeah, we all know how cool it is to work with the online versions of Office Apps. I also tried multi-bootable windows installations or multiple Userprofiles and it worked, but I often need to access files/services that are stored in the OneDrive from my Education Account or vise versa, so it's really impracticable. Then I tried to link my accounts just in these apps where I need it, but Windows 10 really have fun on it to write in my accounts under the named windows 10 settings location. Has anyone a best practice, tips/tricks etc. everything helps... Thanks.25KViews3likes12CommentsUsing comments in office documents in teams
hi all, opening an Office file within Teams we all like to use the comments section and tag other collaborators in using the @ tag to notify users. however when the document is open in Teams i only have the ability to comment and not to @ someone. if i open the document within a browser or actually in the native application, Word or Excel then the @ option appears so i can tag users. make sense?Solved20KViews1like2CommentsHow to update Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise (aka Office) on WVD?
I have built a custom image that was originally based on the "Windows 10 multi-session + Microsoft 365 Apps" image in the Azure gallery. As far as I can tell, the Office apps are installed on this image using the settings specified in https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-desktop/install-office-on-wvd-master-image. One of those settings puts Office on the Monthly Enterprise channel, but it also disables updates. I understand that you don't want end users triggering the updates themselves, and maybe the typical sysadmin doesn't even want the updates getting installed during off-hours when nobody is logged in. But I can't figure out how to install the updates, period, even on a new image meant to replace the one in production. And I can't find this documented anywhere. I feel stupid. Help. 🙂19KViews1like13CommentsMouse pointer disappearing over Word/Excel/Outlook in AVD
Hi We are seeing a strange issue on a bunch of session hosts where user over certain apps cannot see the mouse pointer in their full screen AVD sessions. Session hosts are running Windows 10 22H2 up to date (well to February B week release); user client up to date, I am not aware we had user ever report this prior to completely rebuilding a new host pool last autumn for the AppReadiness crashing issues. From what we can tell this only seem to happen with Microsoft Excel, Word and the Outlook compose window, the mouse pointer basically becomes transparent as you can't see it so it makes it hard to select text or cells accurately. Clients are mostly a mix of HP and Lenovo PCs micro PCs running Windows 10 22H2 and Windows 11 23H2 Enterprise on Intel 8th to 12th Gen CPUs and AMD Ryzen Pro CPUs with integrated graphics. Does anyone else see this or any ideas what might be causing it?13KViews1like4Comments
