Hello, I don't know why, but whenever my laptop with Windows 10 reboots, right after signing in, the very first thing that shows up every time, before even the desktop has the chance to show up or any program can load, is an empty blue screen. It's not the BSOD, but a screen with a blue background similar to the one that appears sometimes after Windows Update installs some updates and Windows asks you to set something up, except that this one doesn't have any text image. Two buttons are available on the bottom: "Repeat" and "Cancel". If I hit "Repeat", it seems the system tries to do something – the rotating loading circles and the words "One moment..." appear very briefly in the center of the screen, but nothing happens and the screen goes blue again with no text. I tried to do this multiple time, but nothing different happens. On the bottom of the screen there are also icons to access accessibility options ("Ease of Access") and audio volume. If you hit "Cancel", the screen disappears, I'm taken to the desktop screen, and the startup process continues normally, with programs opening, etc. Here's how this annoying screen looks: It seems harmless enough, seeing as the solution is simply to hit "Cancel" every time, but the problem is that this laptop is being used as a file server and should be as autonomous as possible, and whenever it starts up, it should be able to complete the whole sign in process unattended to be able to load programs and everything, so I would like to check if anyone has any idea what this screen is and how to get rid of it. I tried restoring Windows to a previous state (from up to 1 month ago) and it didn't solve the problem. Searching the web for similar cases also haven't gotten me anywhere, unfortunately, so any help is appreciated. Thanks, Fabio2.4KViews0likes1CommentFetch Email of Login User Using Command or Script
Dear Team, We are working on retrieving email address of the user joined to Entra ID from Entra-joined Windows devices, specifically while running in a system context. The whoami /upn command successfully returns the joined user’s email address in a user context, but it does not work in a system context, particularly when using an elevated terminal via the psexec utility. We also tested the dsregcmd /status command; however, in a system context, the User Identity tab in the SSO State section only appears when there is an error in AzureAdPrt. Under normal, healthy operating conditions, this command does not provide the user identity or the full domain username. We would greatly appreciate guidance on how to retrieve the Entra ID joined user’s email address in a system context, especially from those with prior experience in this area. Thank you for your support.10Views0likes0CommentsWindows11 remote desktop does not work with non ascii chars in username
After updating my system from Windows10 to Windows11 I am unable to login via remote desktop into another computer where the login contains a non ascii character. It always displays that provided credentials do not work despite providing the correct ones. That another computer has 2 accounts on it, where one of those contains non ascii character and the other one does not. I am only not able to login on the one with non ascii character. The other one works seamlessly. Couple years ago on that other computer I changes the username to not contain non ascii character, but unfortunately Windows lies about changing username because it only changes the displayed name. Couple weeks ago I tried to change all the registry keys which contain the username with non ascii char (while being logged on the other account), but after restart Windows always changes them back. Two questions: 1. What shell I do to be able to use RDP on Windows 11 and be able to login to a computer with non ascii char in a username? 2. Or what shell I do to force Windows10 (the other computer) to change the username to not contain the non-asci char?502Views0likes1CommentFailed to enter windows

This might take a while.
I have WDS and MDT configured to deploy windows 10 to Lenovo ThinkPad 15 Gen2 along with network driver and all the things needed. Due to a minor misconfiguration right network drivers were not being injected. But when we are doing the same windows 10 installation through Bootable USB, we won't be including any drivers in that, but that still works. What I don't understand is the whole WDS deployment happens on the private network which doesn't need internet which I am being mandated for the process after MDT GUI has done its work the laptop restarts and saying "Checking the connection to Microsoft. This might take a while." as the landing page and getting stuck there for hours not letting me go any further. Please help me understand the part where it says it is trying to connect to Microsoft and getting stuck meaning it is trying to connect to internet when there is no need for that.2.3KViews0likes4CommentsWindows 10 Phone Reset Protection
I have tried resetting my Alcatel Idol 4S for my youngest son to use, but upon reset I get an error to turn off reset protection, I try logging into my account and it still does nothing, and the bitlocker says there is no recovery key to be found. I am stuck in the setup steps with no way of providing a recovery key, is there any way around this? Any help is appreciated! Hi, It has been weeks of trying to move past this error using the native troubleshooter, Microsoft Support and calling for help via the Insider feedback reporting tool. I have not been able to move past this. Can someone help or point me toward help here, please? Thanks Theo5.3KViews1like2CommentsWindows 10 Hybrid Join Device - First user login
Hello and greetings from Portugal! In my environment with Windows 10 devices, the machines are Azure AD Hybrid Joined (and not MEM managed). I was wondering if it's possible for a user to connect to their home network and login for the first time on the machine (login against Azure AD and not the on premises AD). I want users using Windows 10 to login their PC with MFA. I check the Docs about Windows Hello for Business but it cannot force the user to login their PC with MFA and they can choose using Windows Hello for Business or password by their own decision. Are there any Microsoft solution to force users to login their PC with MFA? Can ADFS or ADCS do this?1.9KViews2likes8CommentsTerminal Keeps flashing randomly in Windows 11 Beta and Slow Ring
Build 22000.194 corelease: It flashes a lot while I'm watching videos, sometimes when I'm just browsing or using word (pretty much all I do here). I checked for Viruses, Nothing. I tried to disable the task scheduler event registration setting (I think that's what it is), and that didn't work because the option is just plain not there. The last thing I tried is switching to the Release Preview Channel, and it's still happening. Just this second it flashed. When I saw it on start up - there was text, and sometimes the icons on the taskbar refresh - but usually the terminal is blank. How do I make it stop. I don't want to upgrade to the fast ring because I'm certainly not a developer. I just couldn't wait to get the windows 11. It suits my OCD much better than 10.2.2KViews0likes1Comment
