Custom Views not working as expected for Document Library
I have a Document Library called "Production Files". Inside this library I want to have my top-level folder view showing only one column and once I enter a folder I want to have a different view showing multiple columns. To do this I have created two views within Production Files -> Settings (see image below). You are able to create two default views, one for top-level and one for folder. My understanding is that this will show "Top Folder" view on my top level (before I enter my folders) once I ender a folder the view "PBIX Folder" should be the view I see which should show me the columns I have selected as part of this view. However, this is not what occurs. The "Top Folders" view remains enforced once I enter my folder. Here's screenshots showing what I want to occur. Once I enter the folder I want the view to change to PBIX Folder and display the columns. Here's what is occurring now. Any ideas? Regards, H
