there is an icon on the URL bar Selecting this allowed me to choose in which profile I want to open that specific website, including .local and IP addresses. I wish Microsoft made this a bit more evident as it is a new feature. I just noticed this as on my 4th machine I was prompted to select the profile I wanted. I had to migrate my personal profile to Chrome, it was just unbearable to use Edge pushinbg me to my work profile. Considering I have a huge home lab for testing all sort of things that perhaps one day will become something work related, I just could not keep using edge. I have clusters of VMware/Hyper-V hosts, lots of Linux servers and virtual firewalls. Very frustrating, at least to move all my stuff to Chrome was a breeze. I can confirm this problem does NOT exist on Version 118.0.2088.61 (Official build) (64-bit) Only newer versions including Version 119.0.2151.44 (Official build) (64-bit) all have this problem. confirmed, when no work profile is logged in, the personal profile opens .local and ip addresses. when I log into my work profile, then every time I try to open a ip or .local, it forces the switch to a work profile. I've noticed this today after upgrading to Windows 11 23H2, personal profile that can access local network devices like CCTV systems, monitoring, etc... Always get switched to work profile. Any other regular website does not suffer from such a thing. Is this a "new feature" ? Also I cannot add .local websites or IP addresses to the choose preffered profile for sites.Microsoft removing Business Voice (aka Teams phones with calling plan) from benefits program
Hello everyone. I believe some of you may have noticed that since Microsoft started moving the partner programme to the partner designation, we no longer get Microsoft business voice or team phones with calling plan as part of the benefits related to the legacy silver or gold partner membership which now have transitioned to the new Partner designation. The programme has changed a bit, and we no longer get Microsoft teams phones and calling plans as we used to. Microsoft didn't send any communication about removing those benefits or explaining alternative methods to cope with this change which I find a bit upsetting. I'm wondering if there are other partners like ourselves that are finding days a bit odd. I think it's quite important we get team phones licences as this has been one of the ways for us to utilise the service and prove to our customers it is a good solution going forward as we keep using it ourselves, and improving our sales pitch about these products. Hey guys, this problem happened a few months ago in Linkedin pages when using dev channel. I started using the stable channel and I noticed now the problem is also happening with SharePoint pages. I've reported the problem with the feedback option. I'm wondering if more people have experienced this, as I have been for the last month or so on the stable channel. I'm surprised no one has complained about this and perhaps the devs are not aware. I'm using 85.0.564.51 (Official build) (64-bit)
