Teams Meeting Being Duplicated When Forwarded in Outlook
After a system upgrade today (I now have Teams Version 1.5.00.21463, 64-bit and Outlook Version 2202, Build 14931.20660 Click-to -Run), if I schedule a Teams meeting in a specific channel and then forward that meeting to others in Outlook, the meeting is duplicated. Before this upgrade that didn't happen. Is there some new setting somewhere that would prevent such a duplication?1.2KViews0likes1CommentMissed Calls on Desktop App Can't Be Deleted or Marked as Read
When I miss a call in teams, I can "Mark as Read" the missed call on the version of Teams on my devices (phone, tablet) by swiping. I can't do the same on the Windows desktop app version, and not only because my laptop is not swipe capable. There just doesn't seem to be a way of doing this. This can be be confusing. Can a"Mark as Read" functions be incorporated into the desktop app version of Team, maybe with a right-click. Or is there some other way of doing this I'm clueless about?2.8KViews0likes2CommentsRe: How can I bulk invite the team to a meeting?
This is fairly confusing. What is described also does not work for me. I'm the only one to get an invite. I don't know where the team was created, and if for this to work that has to be from inside of Outlook, then it's a pretty ridiculous flaw. Is there any secret weird MS way to be able to paste a list of names into the invite from within Teams? I can paste one name at a time (and then have to answer whether the person that Teams thinks I'm looking for is correct), but if I could paste multiple ones, then the problem would be if not solved, at least less severe. In Outlook you can, with the names or email addresses delimited by semicolons.21KViews0likes1CommentTeams Live Event: Can more than one Presenter be made live at the same time?
We're starting to investigate Teams Live Events, and it seems like only one Presenter can be made live at a time. Is this correct? Here <https://support.office.com/en-us/article/produce-a-live-event-using-teams-591bd694-121d-405c-b26d-730315e45a22> in the notes to step 9, it says:Up to ten presenters or producers (including you) can share video or content at once.28KViews1like5CommentsCalendar vs Outlook: Two Different Meetings to Join?
We're experiencing a weird situation where a scheduled Teams meeting shows up both in our Outlook calendars and in Calendars within Teams, as it should, but joining the meeting from either place opens up separate meetings, even though it is the same meeting, with the same name at the same time of day. So we have people joining one meeting sitting around waiting, while everyone else is in the other meeting. Shouldn't everything be synced so that joining the meeting from either place sends everyone to the same meeting?Solved9.1KViews0likes6Comments
