Custom User Profile properties for External User in SharePoint Online

Hello Everyone,

I see that we can manage the external user profiles in SP Online. Is it recommended to have the custom user profile property associated with External Users? Can you please provide your thoughts.

I need this property to filter the data and display for external users in home screen.
