Take Over an Audio Conference as a Leader When it has Already Started
Situation:
A Teams meeting is scheduled with Audio Conferencing option enabled. Someone other than the meeting organizer joins the meeting via Teams and starts the meeting. Another participant dials into to meeting via the conference bridge.
The original person who started the meeting decides to drop off the meeting and leave the audio participant there. Other participant join in and are sent to the lobby because the leader is no longer part of the meeting.
The meeting organizer finally joins the meeting and cannot start the meeting because the conference bridge automatically places his audio conference in the lobby. The only way to start the meeting is by logging into teams and joining the teams meeting to start the meeting.
Is there a way to have the organizer use the conference bridge and start the meeting in this case? I have found no option that will allow someone to jump from the lobby and sign in as the organizer through the audio conferencing dial-in.

When you dial in to the conference brigde you should hear the option "If you are the meeting organiser, press star now" after you enter the conference id + #. That will allow you to authenticate as a leader using a pin code.
You can change the pin code here https://mysettings.lync.com/pstnconferencing
You can also set who should be able to bypass the lobby here in Meeting Options.

LinusCansby We do have the lobby bypassed. But when the meeting was started via Teams and someone else joins in, the meeting continues but the system knows the leader is not there so it drops people into the lobby and no longer prompts for the pin. (That would have solved everything)
I tried a couple of times now and get the question if I am the meeting organizer and the option to enter a PIN every time, that unlocks the meeting and admits people from the lobby.
You also have this settings in the meeting policy that you can turn on.
What settings do you have in Meeting Options and in Teams.
Also the bypass lobby is still listed as coming soon in docs.
