Laptop not recognizing jackstick output
Hello guys!
For the last month with the use of windows 11, my laptop (Dell XPS 15) is not recognizing my headset. I stick my jack stick into my laptop, but the sound will play out of the internal speakers and is really frustrating when you just wanna listen through your headset. I have tried to uninstall, reinstall Realtek drivers, update drivers, deactivate, activate sound device etc.....
But sometimes when I do reinstall my drivers and have my headset connected to my laptop while it restarts, the sounds come through the headset. But when I unplug and plug it in again, the sounds will play through the internal speakers. HELP!
Please help, this is tormenting me, and will haunt me every time I am opening my laptop ;(

Try uninstall the driver and restart your PC and see whether it works with the default Windows driver?
You may try run Windows Update and see if it is available in the Windows Update.
