Quick-B00ks BEX (Buffer Overflow Exception) Error typically occurs due to compatibility issues, corrupted program files, or conflicts with other software. Here are steps to resolve it:
Update Quick-B00ks: Ensure your Quick-B00ks software is updated to the latest version.
- Open Quick-B00ks.
- Go to the Help menu.
- Select Update Quick-B00ks Desktop.
- Click Update Now.
Run Quick-B00ks in Compatibility Mode:
- Right-click the Quick-B00ks icon on your desktop.
- Select Properties.
- Go to the Compatibility tab.
- Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select your operating system version.
- Click Apply, then OK.
Disable Data Execution Prevention (DEP) for Quick-B00ks:
- Press Windows + R, type sysdm.cpl, and press Enter.
- Go to the Advanced tab and click Settings under Performance.
- Go to the Data Execution Prevention tab.
- Select "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select."
- Click Add and browse to the Quick-B00ks executable file (QBW32.EXE or QBW64.EXE).
- Click Apply, then OK.
Run Quick-B00ks Install Diagnostic Tool:
- Download the Quick-B00ks Tool Hub.
- Open the Tool Hub and select the Installation Issues tab.
- Run the Quick-B00ks Install Diagnostic Tool.
