How to enable 'Never Combine taskbar buttons'. Windows 11 ?
Best way to do it to tweak Registry Entry.
1. Run>Regedit
2. Paste this: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
3. Look for TaskbarGlomLevel
4. Set value to 2
5. Open Task Manager and look for "Window Explorer" in Processes section
6. Select "Window Explorer" and click on "Restart task".
You can now see the changes in task bar.
To restore back to previous taskbar behavior, please set TaskbarGlomLevel value to 0

Sadly this registry edit did not work for me. I'm Windows 11 Home 22H2 with all the latest updates. OS Build 22621.2070
I did upgrade from Windows 10. Maybe that makes a difference.- FeejusAug 06, 2023Brass Contributor
HeyVeganTacos there's an English saying that goes 'Patience is a virtue.' In the upcoming Windows 11 release, the 'Never combine' button will be reintroduced in the settings.

VeganTacos Hi,
it does not matter how to update - simply, propose a command ( certainly will not work in Windows11, It can also be dangerous and do not trust such - not confirmed solutions. )
