How to enable 'Never Combine taskbar buttons'. Windows 11 ?
hoanglongson Hopefully for Windows 12 they'll improve things even further, by having all applications collapsed under a single taskbar icon. This single intuitive icon will be a massive productivity boost!

But it's a great idea!
One large icon on full screen -> divided into fragments in which the tasks are clearly described and the most frequently used favorites are pinned, 🙂

Deleted Heh... such button won't even need a display. Make it mechanical on-off switch. That would lower the power consumption to negligible level.
- Even better: Get rid of the whole taskbar / start menu thing and only work within MS teams, which doesn't need to be started, since it is autostarted anyway. No need for a classical UI anymore, since you can access everything through extensive clicking through the teams menu. Finally dump your windows device for a smart phone for more comfort when working from the couch.
- Just wait until there is no alternative, like everybody currently staying on Windows 10 or using remote desktops at work. Once this is no longer an option I'll grab my popcorn for this utter fiasco Microsoft
