PnP PowerShell Utility usage in Production applications

Hello Everyone,

I have a very big question - Are we not supposed to leverage PnP PowerShell utility commands (Like Set-PnPListItemPermission) in production applications. Because, If we are getting any issues in execution - Microsoft Support Team says "We do not support issues when code is written using PnP"
