Preview .eml and .msg files in SharePoint on premises
I have a question regarding Preview of files. In Office 365 there are a lot of options to preview files. But I am looking into SharePoint server. And especially into eml and msg files can you preview them in SharePoint On Premises? And is it already possible in the 2013 version or do you need to upgrade? If a upgrade will be made it will be 2019. Is it also important to have Enterprise or Standard if it works? Thanks in advance.
Classic SharePoint list view redirecting to home page
Hello! I have an old Classic SharePoint site that I need to create a new view in a list for. I have created this view but whenever I go to open that view it redirects me to the homepage. This site was build by someone else and I believe this is by design to stop users from using admin only views....but how do I stop this for my new view? I need some users to be able to use it. When I create a personal view it does not do this redirect. Any ideas how I can stop it happening on a public view? Or will I need each of my users who need a new view to set up personal views of their own?How to grant access to SharePoint subsite with no Owners
Hello! Can someone advise how I can add a user to a SharePoint site with no Owners/Members or Admins? It is a Classic SharePoint subsite so I cannot modify any settings using the SharePoint Admin Centre so I need to find a script or a method of some sort to allow me to add a user account to the site to then be able to review it/decommission it etc.? TIA!
SharePoint List - How to open Edit Current View option in same Tab
Hi All, Currently I am using SharePoint Online site collection. In that list if I click on Edit current view option from any view then it open in new Tab to edit view settings. How to open that in the same Tab? As in SharePoint 2013 if you modify list view then it opens in same Tab so this same behavior want in SharePoint Online. Is there any way to open in same Tab on SharePoint Online List. Thanks, Harish Patil
InfoPath Unable to Submit the Data
Hi Team I have the InfoPath form which is connected with SharePoint list in the list i have added the new column and also i have added the new textbox in the InfoPath designer but while submitting the data the column value is not storing to the DataSource. The DataSource is giving the Main in the InfoPath designer. Can you anyone give me the solution Please find the Images. Newly Added the Column which is Sample Data. I am very new to SharePoint and I have been tasked to set up a VDR using SharePoint. It is for sharing and collaborating with external partners. Important features of a VDR are, but not limited to: 1) User Management and Control (User login, Login auto expiry, Assigning access permission etc) 2) Data Management and Control (Access permission, watermarking, cannot download/save, cannot print, cannot edit etc) 3) User Activity Report (when did user login, frequency of login, which files, etc) I am not able to find much resources for this. I am wondering anyone here has any experience setting up a VDR via Sharepoint. And if you could share best practice or any advice, will be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance. Cheers, jw
SharePoint Power Apps Form lock the form field to only created by can edit
I'm trying to get the SharePoint Form fields to be locked for editing for everyone except for the person who created the item. the only this I can see wrong is that when I place the Created By Column in the form field it shows: i:0=.f|membership|email where I think the i:0=.f|membership| before the email address is throwing the code off: I'm using this code: If( User().Email = ThisItem.'Created By'.Email, DisplayMode.Edit, DisplayMode.View ) Currently it is locked no one can edit the fields not even the person who created the item. (Created By) Is there a way to fix the code to work?
