How to enable external sharing
Hi all,
I need to activate external sharing option (Share to anyone with the link) for my organization.
I've activated the External Sharing in SharePoint admin center > Policies > Sharing and also change the External file sharing for the SP sites to Anyone, but it still doesn't work.
Is my configuration correct? Did I miss anything?

That's so nice of you, thank you. I just wanted to share that I recently found out when I turn off the security group option, its working. But if I turn it on and select any Microsoft group, it wouldn't show the Anyone option.

Hello! When you have configured the setting in SharePoint/OneDrive policies. You also have to go to the SharePoint Admin Center. Select the site you want to configure the sharing permissions on and go to settings and sharing permissions. From there, you are able to set how the site should behave in regards of sharing.

Yes that is correct :) Are you sure that you clicked on "save" when you turned on external sharing for Anyone?
Please navigate to a document library, select a file and choose the option "copy link".
Click on Setting to open up the configuration for the link. Anyone should be the top option available.

I just want to add a note that when I open the Link settings, the option to share to anyone with a link doesn't show even though I've enable external sharing.

Yes, I did. But it doesn't show the option to share to anyone with the link.
