Get the OneDrive app in SharePoint iOS app
Hello Community,
My organization recently starts testing the SharePoint app on iOS devices. The app looks great and promising; but, when tried to launch a document library from the SP app, it prompts a page to direct users download the OneDrive app.
For compliance and security reason, we are currently not allowing users to download OneDrive app to their mobile devices. There's an article on support.office.com also mentioning this behavior, but it dosen't provide any workaround for organizations that couldn't install OneDrive Apps...
On iOS, is there anyway we can launch document libraries and view files using just SharePoint app?
Any guideline here would be appreciated.

Yeap, same opinion here and I have seen this behavior for a while...I think the App is simply not ready to directly show a document embeded there so you need to download to your device by means of the OneDrive client...tagging Mark-Kashman

Read a response a while ago from a MS person and said something like the SP app is for interacting & browsing Sharepoint sites, all file management / interaction take place in the OD app, this is by design, presumabley the experience will get better over time but at the moment from a UA perspective is very confusing for end users.
