We are in the process of setting up a team iPad with SharePoint among other things. When we open the site and one of the document libraries it just gives a long list of documents with no categories unlike the web version. Is there a way to set the app to show the same way as the web version?2.9KViews0likes7CommentsError on launching sharepoint iOS app"Could not understand open request. Please update both apps."
I have an enterprise iOS app where I have a simple requirement to launch the SharePoint native app on iOS. I'm using the following URL to do so: "ms-SharePoint://". It launches the app fine but throws up a pop up saying: "Could not understand open request. Please update both apps.". IT's quite an irritant for our enterprise users. It was working fine before Sept'21 though. So wondering if something got changed in the SharePoint app which is causing this? Is there any other way or another URL scheme to launch the Sharepoint iOS app from another native iOS app? Any feedback is highly appreciated.923Views0likes1CommentAuthentication error on SharePoint Online pages in iOS Safari
When my organization use Safari to access Sharepoint Online, we got this authentication error on top of the page, at each sidepage we load. The error message extends with one more message per click sometimes and can after a while take up the whole page. The pages seems to work fine in Edge browser, but the most of our user base use Safari, and we need it to work flawless there. Translation of error message from Swedish (in image below) to English: “To be able to view this information on this page you have to verify your identity. Click here to add additional authenticationinformation.”1.9KViews0likes1CommentSharePoint Workflows in Android or IOS devices, is it supported ?

When we click on Start, we are redirected to the right page. After that nothing happens. When checking the item workflow page we see that the workflow was not started (nothing in progress, nothing completed, etc.). Any suggestions why the custom workflow works in android but not in the IOS devices, in browser as well as the app ?1.8KViews0likes3CommentsSharepoint iOS App is not showing my entire list
Hello, I have a strange issue that just surfaced. I have a small list in SharePoint Online with 182 items. On a desktop browser, I see the entire list. However, when viewing the list through the iOS SharePoint App, I only see 105 items (Sorted by Default, and no Filters). Also, applying filters is no longer working. I have cleared the account settings and reinstalled the app without any success. Any ideas what could be wrong? (iOS Version 12.01 - iPhone 6s). - Your help would be appreciated.1.8KViews0likes1CommentSharePoint IOS app diverts document library to the OneDrive IOS app, which does not show the library
I want to highlight an issue, which is possible a bug or a design oversight. I wonder if anybody else has experienced the same issue. Site Set up: I created a Microsoft Team. On the SharePoint site that came with it, to prevent users from accidentally breaking Teams by moving the General folder in the default Document library, which has happened, I changed the name of the library from Documents to Team Channel Files. I created a new document library called Finance Documents. I edited the quick launch menu, added the Finance Documents library and removed the Team Channel Files from there. SharePoint IOS app access: I used the SharePoint IOS app to access files from the SharePoint site. As you can see, when I clicked on the hamberger button, the quick launch menu shows the Finance Documents library. Diversion to OneDrive and Issue of missing Document libraries When I clicked on the Finance Documents, the app diverts me the the OneDrive app. The problem was the OneDrive app did not show any other document library other than the default one, which I had renamed to Team Channel Files. I could not see the Finance Document library. I created four Teams recently and in each one of their SharePoint sites I created new document libraries. In three of them, once the SharePoint IOS app diverted to the OneDrive app, I could not see the new document libraries I had created. The only way I could access those document libraries' contents was if I clicked on Site Contents in the SharePoint app and select the library there. This way the app did not divert to OneDrive.Solved17KViews0likes11CommentsPhoto Gallery Issues with iOS SharePoint App
I've set up a communications site, and would like to set up image galleries to share with users. The galleries seem to work flawlessly if viewing in a desktop environment. However, users accessing the site through the iOS app are having difficulty with the image gallery. I did find a similar thread within the forum which described the same issue, in which the user reported the problem was fixed. In this case there was no mention of any particular fix or configuration change that allowed the gallery to work correctly from the iOS app. Here is a list of the issues: 1. Thumbnails for all images load, however, when they tap on an image, nothing happens. 2. If the user continues to tap on different images within the gallery, the SharePoint app will eventually stop responding and will require a force-close. 3. Users have even tried accessing the gallery through Safari on their iPad, and they experience the same issue. Testing on: Most recent (as of 04/2018) iPad Pro, on latest version of iOS. SharePoint app up to date. Is this a known issue, or can anyone else confirm a similar behavior? Is there anything that can be done to resolve the issue? Thanks, -J1.3KViews0likes1CommentGet the OneDrive app in SharePoint iOS app
Hello Community, My organization recently starts testing the SharePoint app on iOS devices. The app looks great and promising; but, when tried to launch a document library from the SP app, it prompts a page to direct users download the OneDrive app. For compliance and security reason, we are currently not allowing users to download OneDrive app to their mobile devices. There's an https://support.office.com/en-us/article/How-SharePoint-and-OneDrive-mobile-work-together-2c8a9b8a-c2e5-4adc-a733-17a6d168075e?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=USon support.office.com also mentioning this behavior, but it dosen't provide any workaround for organizations that couldn't install OneDrive Apps... On iOS, is there anyway we can launch document libraries and view files using just SharePoint app? Any guideline here would be appreciated.2.1KViews0likes3Comments
