Voicemail not visible in Teams under call tab.

Hi,

Being new to this Microsoft world I have a question that I can’t seem to find an answer on I any forum.

So what am I missing when I can´t see the voicemails for the Call Queue in the Team under the Calls tab.?

The call queue are pointing to a Team and that works fine and after business hours the call go to voicemail on the same Team and that is also working fine I get the voicemail under groups in Outlook but not in the Teams client under the Calls tab. In here I can only see incoming and outgoing calls. Any ideas.?

I did "fix" this.... Here's how to think of it: If a call goes to a call group and that call group doesn't pick up and has a Voicemail box attached via a VIrtual User license on a resource, it will indicate a voicemail on the calls tab in Teams. What happens is first it tells Teams 'Missed Call', then it connects the Voicemail left to this 'Missed Call' item and it changes to a 'Voicemail'. It it directs out of the group through the AutoAttendent or call queue logic to a Voice App or other extension, the end resulting voicemail never gets connected to the 'Missed Call' item in Teams...

The voicemail will show in Outlook no matter the path; it just won't in Teams unless it specifically has a 'Missed Call' tag AND the voicemail happens directly in that call logic path.

I hope that helps, and I hope they fix it (and I hope I explained my findings well enough 🙂 )

VNJoe, I know this is old, and I appreciate that you were able to fix it. But I want to ask how you "actually" fixed the issue. This whole voicemail in Teams not showing is still an issue today.

No one seems to have a definitive answer except to say they fixed it and provide an explanation that does not explain how it was fixed.

If you recall the "how", please provide what steps you took to correct the issue. Thank you.

You'd want to retrieve the message from the Outlook group. I still have no way to retrieve the email from within Teams at this time.

Did it work for you? Just wondering so maybe Microsoft will realize 'Oops, we should fix this'.... as if.

I also have this issue on a customer tenant of ours, it's brand new to us as our tenant works fine.
