Teams No Longer Showing Options to Choose a Background or Blur the Background
Remove Legacy Teams Classic.
Download Teams Boot Strapper
Open elevated Cmd.exe
run teamsbootstrapper.exe -x
followed by teamsbootstrapper.exe -p
Open NewTeams aka Microsoft Teams (work or school)
Only the Office add-in uses registry entries, New Teams uses json files for configuration.
- I have been reading up on the Teams Bootstrapper and I understand that it is a bulk deployment tool. Everyone already has Teams here and I have already tried uninstalling a reinstalling Teams. I have also tried both versions of Teams. What would be achieved by using Bootstrapper toward resolving the issue that I have reported?
Thank you for the suggestion! I will try this and let you know how it goes. I should also mention that it appears that the issue is only affecting VM's. Laptops and desktop computers do not seem to be experiencing the issue in my tests conducted so far.

It's been a while but I finally tested this per your suggestion and the issue is not resolved. I installed the recommended msi file. There was no effect. I then installed Windows updates and rebooted the VM. Still no effect. Please let me know if you have any additional suggestions or recommendations and thank you for your help.
