Team Calls - screen layout
Hi, one of our members seems to have changed the layout of her Teams Call screen and we cannot figure out how to change it back to the default. This is her current screen
This is how our screen is usually presented.
Can anyone help with returning it to our default layout?
Thanks.

I agree, the new layout is terrible and a real pain for receptionist that need to see the speed dial tiles and groups to see what users are up to.
Please revert this back or make it so you can customize the layout!!!!
- ThereseSolimenoFormer EmployeeHello all: we appreciate all of the feedback in this post and I have shared it with our internal PMs.

ThereseSolimeno Thanks so much. I wondered when we would hear from someone at MSFT. Can you tell the thousands of us who have commented what the PM's say after you share our collective outrage with them? In other words, will you let us all know if and when they are going to respond to the community's cries?
- mariomelendezCopper ContributorA high level executive in our organization brought this to me yesterday because he was used to and preferred the previous view for speed dial! He spent a considerable amount of time trying to figure what "he thought he did wrong"! Microsoft is trying to make it easier with everything on one page but they should have left an option for users to revert back to original view! I'm hoping they consider adding this option soon! He wasn't very happy to say the least!
- Tall_PaulBrass ContributorWe have recently discovered being able to add a 'Calls Tab' to a Team which is ideal for our Helpdesk and Reception, this in itself makes managing missed calls much cleaner for any team/group based activities making the new approach & layout even more confusing and convoluted. MS...please, as others have said, stop chucking things in without consolation, even some basic requirements gathering from the user community to get a general feel of how teams is being used would be a start, as Trainers/Project Managers or Admin users of Teams, we end up having to justify and rework these implementations and take much of the brunt for poorly conceived ideas.

The new layout is really terrible. The speed dial is the most used and most important feature I use. I would like to see this extended instead of reduced.

WOW, that is one badly conceived layout. Now there is no useful hierachical directory and a completely useless call history screen. And the search function is useless also. Please move the intern that came up with this UI to a project no one cares about. The old screen was bad enough. This one is TOTALLY useless. Making a call is now one big workaround. Obviously whoever designed this does not use teams in a profession capacity.
- JamesMeggittCopper ContributorAdding my voice to this thread - crazy to think that call history is that important to anyone to make it center-stage AND not give people the option to at least toggle it on or off.
- aoneil-smith-nfpaCopper ContributorUsers reporting this change at my organization are very upset and do not like the layout change. Please give us the option to either roll back app version or opt out of the change. Thank you!

We are starting to see the same thing. Hate this layout. Please give us the option to revert it back. This layout also makes it much less intuitive to create new speed dial groups. DS_BCC_IT

AARONELANGSTON What do you mean by "less intuitive to create new speed dial groups" ? I cannot find any option for grouping of contacts anymore in the new layout - is there anything hidden somewhere ?
- AARONELANGSTONCopper Contributor
Yes, there is a way to group your speed dials but it is not user friendly. You must click on Chat, then click on the V next to Chat at the upper left hand column and choose Contacts. You will then see Create a new contact group ant the bottom of that column. They hid it well.Joerg_Gless

I agree, this new layout is not good, productive or helpful. I need to see my contacts and their status MUCH more than my calling history, which to be honest I never use. You can't even set the size (width) of the call history. Due to space issues, I can't see all of my contacts now and their status without scrolling. This page has become pretty much useless to me now and I really won't use it going forward unless it's changed back.
