Team Calls - screen layout
Hi, one of our members seems to have changed the layout of her Teams Call screen and we cannot figure out how to change it back to the default. This is her current screen
This is how our screen is usually presented.
Can anyone help with returning it to our default layout?
Thanks.

The new screen layout is horrible. please revert back. The best feature of the speed dial was to have all your contacts in one place for you to call them quickly. Placing the call history as such a prominent area of the page was a mistake.

I totally agree, this new layout is making everything worse and is causing additional work. The removal of contact groups is the most disgusting point here ... And no option to choose which contacts are shown.
Microsoft surely will not learn how to test new features before roll out, so i have no hope we will get the former functionalities back. And also i am afraid that the still good browser view will vanish soon.
- petefarndon1Copper ContributorI agree with everyone else. Appalling "improved" UI

Why change something that isn't broke or at least offer a way to adjust or resize the "Calls" frames (so one can enlarge the Speed dial frame)? I don't want History to be my main view. As others have stated, it was useful to have a view of fellow employees (old thumbnails view) as the main view, so I could see at a quick glance who was busy, in a meeting, out of the office, etc. Come on Microsoft, run this type of change by a focus group of "actual users," that aren't employees, to get honest feedback beforehand.
- KDub64Copper ContributorThe UI change is awful. Please revert back to the original format OR provide the user with the ability to choose between the two.

Hello, does anyone know how to create a new calling group in the new calling layout ?
Few days ago I was still able to add "new group". I can't see that option now ?

You are all mistaken. You think that the purpose of microsoft tools is to make things easier for you. It isn't, it is to show off to other designers how cool they are
- MannylukCopper ContributorThis is dire! Change it back and stop messing with my desktop! Whoever thought call history needed to be front and centre needs to give their head a wobble!
- Trond_KvamCopper ContributorThis was a totally unexpected "feature" of this update. Many in our organization now waste time trying to correct this "feature". This is a poor layout.
And to have the call history as the main focus is also a privacy issue in a working enviroment. - LindasbellCopper ContributorI agree w previous comments, poor layout and much prefer previous version.
- PolanneCopper ContributorSorry but this is a step backwards. Who wants to see a list of their calls at centre stage?! It was very helpful to have a view of staff (old thumbnails view) at centre stage as we could see at a glance who was busy, in a call, off work etc.
In over a year of using Teams I have not once needed to use the call button to look at call history! Who on earth thought this was an improvement? Please revert back to how this was previously or at least give users the option of amending the view rather than dictating to them.
Thanks 🙂
