Take Over an Audio Conference as a Leader When it has Already Started
I tried a couple of times now and get the question if I am the meeting organizer and the option to enter a PIN every time, that unlocks the meeting and admits people from the lobby.
You also have this settings in the meeting policy that you can turn on.
What settings do you have in Meeting Options and in Teams.
Also the bypass lobby is still listed as coming soon in docs.
LinusCansby This is my settings for my Audio Conferencing. We do not want to allow anonymous people to start the meeting, granted that would solve the issue, but that is not what leadership wants.
I think this is a situational problem. It only happens if someone joins the meeting in teams and leaves an anonymous user in the meeting. I think the state of a started meeting with no leader cannot be resolved. This could be a tenant issue also, but I'm just trying to see if anyone else has seen this type of behavior from their Teams Meetings and Audio Conferencing.
We do have a workaround and that is to have the meeting organizer always start the meeting in teams and then have the conference bridge dial the conference room phone but that still does not solve the initial problem of allowing the meeting organizer to join a started meeting via audio conferencing.
