Recording on Microsoft Teams
I was wondering if anyone could offer a solution to my problem. Yesterday I recorded a Teams call, there were 3 of us on this call, 2 were muted with their cameras turned off whilst the other person was the speaker with everything turned on. During the call all participants could only see the main caller talking (which is what we wanted on the recording too). However, once we had finished the call the recording showed all three of us with videos on and equally distributed on the screen. Is there a simple way that we can ensure only one person is recorded on the screen? Am I missing something obvious?
Thank you in advance.
- Hi pfroud
Have the person who is recording pin a single person on the screen whilst recording. This should ensure only one person is on the stage

However, if the users have their video on they will still show (although small) down the bottom of the meeting stage.
There is a uservoice open for this to lock one a single person and show no others - would recommend voting on this one and if it gets picked up you'll be notified

Hope that answers your question
