Planning to integrate phone system to Microsoft teams.
Hello Community,
I am planning to integrate my phone system to Microsoft teams. Is this possible?
if yes then how can I achieve this?
- Step 1: Make sure that the Phone System is available in your country or region.
- Step 2: Buy and assign Phone System and Calling Plan licenses.
- Step 3: Get phone numbers for your users.
- Step 4: Get service phone numbers (audio conferencing, call queues, auto attendants)
If you still have an issue you can click on the below link for more help.

serverpro It will be helpful if you share your region. Check this out for more guidance - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/what-is-phone-system-in-office-365
Currently in Nigeria, we are working with Audio codes to get this feature up and working.

Pamela Chukwuemeka thank you for your response.
I am in Germany and wanted to integrate my teams with this company https://www.sipcall.ch/
they also have a complete documented article for teams integration on their web page : https://support.sipcall.ch/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/microsoft-teams-direct-routing-config
But i am little confused regarding the setting which they are asking and I also wanted to know once the setup is completed as per the article what all changes will happen to my teams users. Your inputs will be appreciated.
Wow? this is a question that is difficult to answer in a few lines. Basically, there are two solutions: either contract call plans with Microsoft (available in 10 countries around the world) or use Direct sip Routing technology. The latter solution can be completely managed by an operator such as Colt, NTT etc.
License level requires that each user has a Phone system license.
Well it's a bit summarized but in a few lines difficult to do better

- LorenBxCopper ContributorIt's not too difficult but will take some reading up on the subject to make is a success. First, test your network with Skype for Business network testing tool. It will let you know approximately how good your network is. You can setup it to sample very x minutes for x hours and then summarize the results. Pay close attention to packet loss and jitter numbers. Make corrections to network infrastructure if need be. Second, consider how people will do voice. Be sure to purchase and use Teams/Skype for Business certified devices. I like Yealink and Poly phone sets for those that must have a phone set. Buy headsets for those that would prefer headsets; you will get best results with Teams certified ones. Go to microsoftteams.com and find certified devices there. Pro tip: prices from some things are better via these pages. Then: * purchase needed licenses: Phone System and PSTN service or do direct routing. * assign licenses * setup E911 location address(es) * get phone numbers * assign phone numbers and E911 location * setup call queues and auto-attendants * If needed: forward calls to Teams, port numbers and assign them after being ported This is by no means complete step-by-step directions but a general steps.
