MS Teams with Guests - can we put them with 'read only' permissions?
Hi,
our team is developing services on customers environments and it´s obvious to share OneNote, Planner and etc. Can we put then as 'Read Only' for all tabs?? We would like to share also Mindmeister, Lucidchart and etc.
I haven't found the option to change 'guests' permissions on that specific team, I think the this permission is to entire TEAMS and not for each team. Do I´m wrong???

- As Nicklas has said, you cannot, all members have edit rights, you can restrict members to read but not just guests themselves. The tabs for external services usually run off anonymous links that allow editing rights, so you cannot restrict these either.

sorry to bring this up again, but is this still the same? No option to allow access to external guest users in MS Teams but with "read only" permissions? Or is in the meantime a way to achieve this?

RamonCSP nope. Teams are still powered by O365 Groups for security, which has a Member / Owner model therefore you cannot have read only. You can mess around with underlying SharePoint permissions to lock down files but not chats for guests only.

Renato_Pereira the main thought of Microsoft Teams is that the whole Team is treated the same. I.e members and guests have roughly the same permissions. The owner have a bit more.
