Meeting Recording - Compute power
Hey guys,
I am searching for a documentation - where teams is recording the meetings - according to this one:
Record a meeting in Teams - Office Support (microsoft.com)
"The recording happens in the cloud" - but where? Is this located to my tenant - or where the meeting has started? I mean the compute power - stored is onedrive for business - this is clear for me. Maybe someone has an answer for me!
- Hello, the recording is processed in Azure Media Services and then stored in either OneDrive/SharePoint (or Stream if still using that).

- The365GuyBrass ContributorThanks! Do you also know in which region this happens? Is this depending in which region the meeting starts - or depending of the tenant of the customer?
No worries, you can read about the data location here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/location-of-data-in-teams
(depending on location of the tenant initiating by all logic)
