Meeting Recording - Compute power
Hey guys, I am searching for a documentation - where teams is recording the meetings - according to this one: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/record-a-meeting-in-teams-34dfbe7f-b07d-...
- Aug 04, 2021Hello, the recording is processed in Azure Media Services and then stored in either OneDrive/SharePoint (or Stream if still using that).

Hello, the recording is processed in Azure Media Services and then stored in either OneDrive/SharePoint (or Stream if still using that).
- The365GuyAug 04, 2021Brass ContributorThanks! Do you also know in which region this happens? Is this depending in which region the meeting starts - or depending of the tenant of the customer?

No worries, you can read about the data location here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/location-of-data-in-teams
(depending on location of the tenant initiating by all logic)

One additional question - I know a teams meeting with people from different locations - starts in the location from the first participant which is joining. So my tenant is in europe, but the first colleague is joining from US - this means the meeting is running in the US - When I from germany start the recording - is then azure media service from the US triggered? Or from my overall tenant which is in europe?
