How to change the new Chat and Channels experience in Teams

When I turn this on in teams for Mac, I can create sections in both my Teams and my Chats tabs individually but can't find a view that combines the two.
When my co-worker turns on this feature on a windows machine she gets a combined view.
I can't seem to find any documentation of how to use this feature outside of this thread.
Is the shared view coming soon to mac as well?- Hey GiulianoDeLuca, any updates on when this will be fully available on mac? thanks!

DaynaA can you share where the documentation for the "feature" is MSFT seems to be hiding info again in message center on there learning / documentation portal 😑

I can't find any outside of this thread.
GiulianoDeLuca is it me or Microsoft backtracked on their decision to merge Teams/Channels with Chats? The only thing I can find now in the roadmap is a cleaner overview of Teams and Channels but still living under Teams.
