How can I get useful search results in Search?

I am using the desktop application for Microsoft Teams 1.6.00.20074 (64-bit). When looking for messages by searching for a term, I get results that seem to have random dates (and then there is a "More messages" link which opens a different page of results [which is still a rather short list - with the unnecessary branded/aesthetic UI).

Is there a method to sort simple search results? Like just a list of messages with the term that I'm searching for?
