Cloud Auto Attendant - Hybrid Resource Accounts
Hi,
We wanted to create a Resource Account (RA) in our Skype for Business 2019 environment to use it with Cloud Auto Attendant. We've tried it following the instruction on https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/skypeforbusiness/hybrid/configure-onprem-ra but failed because required information is missing.
We tried to run the command mention in step 3 (of course with correct names in)
New-CsHybridApplicationEndpoint -DisplayName appinstance01 -SipAddress sip:appinstance01@contoso.com -OU "ou=Redmond,dc=litwareinc,dc=com"
The command failed because we couldn't provide the required Application-ID. The New-CsHybridApplicationEndpoint it's a mandatory parameter.
Running Get-CsOnlineApplicationInstance provided no result since no auto attendant was configured yet and I can't configure one without creating a resource account. Looks like a chicken egg problem to me.
Any idea what I'm missing or where I'm supposed to get the required application ID?

as you noticed there is an error in the documentation. You have to add the ApplicationId for the AA or CQ depending on what you are planning to create.

Hi FelixF,
as you noticed there is an error in the documentation. You have to add the ApplicationId for the AA or CQ depending on what you are planning to create.
