Chat externe Teams

ich versuche in einem Unternehmensaccount andere Unternehmensbenutzer einer externen Firma die Teams nutzt per Chat zu erreichen.
Das funktioniert auch. Aber nur bei Emailadressen die nicht bei Skype hinterlegt sind. Dann findet er bei der externen Suche immer nur das Skype Konto

Well, I would say why are users setting up Skype accounts with corporate credentials?
That is a solution - and that will solve it I have seen it several times. Microsoft doesn't disclose why it would pick Skype over Teams - but the problem is not about fixing Microsoft - if you want to see that change that it prioritises a search in Teams before Skype then raise it on Uservoice - it is about fixing it in this given situation. The other possible way is adding the users as guests to a Team in the environment and then chat with them that way, but that is only a workaround

i wont talk to skype users
i would reach the email adress from the user at his teams ad account- I see.
It sounds like the other company is doing a migration from Skype to Teams or has some users on Teams and some on Skype for Business (In a state called Island Mode). You would want to have the other users move all of their users to Teams Only Mode to have the best experience of chat

That should resolve it and then you shouldn't see Skype anymore, or the Skype logo whilst chatting
