User cannot access bookings because it redirects the user to /onboarding
We are experiencing an issue where a user has an existing public Bookings page. They logged in today and it tries to walk them through the new user tutorial. They complete the tutorial, and it provides an error message.
Other users in our organization are working with no issue.
We are on G3 Licensing.
- Thanks, looks like it is resolved on my end as well. Just some additional info to close this out:
Title: Some users are unable to access the Microsoft Bookings homepage
User impact: Users were unable to access the Microsoft Bookings homepage.
More info: When some users attempted to access the Microsoft Bookings homepage to manage the Bookings calendar, they were redirected to the Bookings onboarding page unexpectedly.
Final status: After further review of the network trace logs and internal server logs, we've found that a flight that enables bookings was recently disabled. We have since enabled the flight and validated that impact was remediated through our testing environment.
Scope of impact: Your organization was impacted, and some users were unable to access the Microsoft Bookings homepage.
Start time: Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 2:56 PM UTC
End time: Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 1:00 AM UTC
Root cause: A flight that enables bookings was recently disabled, resulting in impact.
Next steps:
- We're continuing to investigate why the flight was incorrectly disabled to prevent similar issues in the future.
This is the final update for the event.

- ksalvailCopper ContributorAppears to be fixed now...mobile and desktop Teams Booking app shows our existing Microsoft Bookings page, as well as in the Office 365 web portal Bookings app.

Update: We have identified a workaround from an old post. You can view the bookings calendar through outlook via a web browser (OWA) or on the desktop client. You will need to know the name of the bookings calendar but once you have that, you can view the bookings.
In our case, the bookings service was still working and users were still making appointments but our agents needed the links so they could connect to the scheduled meeting. Adding the booking calendar to Outlook has provided them visibility to the scheduled meetings. We just cannot manage the scheduling or the bookings service until the functionality is restored.

Current status: Due to the complexity of this issue, we're continuing to review available network traces and we're gathering internal server logs for further assessment of the problem.
I assume they'll have an Advisory here at some point. - ksalvailCopper ContributorIt looks like the introduction of "Booking with me" for government tenants disabled/lost access to "Microsoft Bookings." "Bookings with me" differs from "Microsoft Bookings" — although both services are related (since you are supposed to be able to access Microsoft Bookings from the Bookings with me page). On my iPhone Teams app (older then 5.20.0 10/29/23) Bookings app, I was able to see our organization business booking page, but now I get the message "You don't have access to use Microsoft Bookings. If you've lost access, please talk to your IT administrator to get Bookings enabled again." However, Microsoft Bookings is still enabled in the org settings, and users are still licensed for Microsoft Bookings.
- mdaigleCOBCopper ContributorWe are having the same problem. One of our offices that relies on the Booking for appointments all of a sudden were getting appointments for days that were blocked off. Attempting to go into the Bookings app and figure out what's going on, we just keep getting forwarded to https://outlook.office365.com/bookings/onboarding. So far I haven't figured out any way around it.

Loren_365 How did you submit a ticket? I have the same exact issue and need to submit a ticket as well. Thanks

- HalcyonSFBrass ContributorWe're also running into the same issue today with a lot of our users. The Booking page will work if they navigate directly to https://outlook.office.com/bookwithme/ but if they try to view all bookings or go through the office.com app, they'll get the onboarding page loop / error message.
Ticket has been opened with Microsoft, so hopefully a response here shortly. - ksalvailCopper ContributorMy organization has G3 plans and today, most staff in the Teams Bookings screen were shown the same onboarding messaging. Some staff have been shown a landing spot for a "Personal bookings page" with an area for "Shared booking pages." Clicking on the "Discover" button in the "Shared booking pages" area could not find our existing business booking page. However, in my iPhone Teams app (older then 5.20.0 10/29/23), I can see our organization business booking page under the "Shared booking pages" area, yet you need to go to the Bookings web app to edit. Clicking on the iPhone Teams Bookings business booking page share button and entering the shared URL (https ://book.ms/b/***@*** ) in a browser revealed a "500 Something went wrong. We can't get that information right now. Please try again later." message. How do we get the existing business booking page to show in the "Shared booking pages" area?
- Loren_365Brass ContributorWe are on G3 as well. I opened a ticket with support. We shall see what the response is. The odd thing is that some users with existing bookings pages are just fine.
