Business Central MAU not being recognised AND Microsoft Support not really getting it
Microsoft support are currently "asking the product engineers what evidence I need to submit to prove that we have Business Central usage not being correctly accounted for" What I have sent so far: An active subscriptions export from the partner portal I picked one subscription GUID for 7 Business Central licenses as an example It shows them as active and also renewed A "Cloud Product Performance - Business Applications" export from the partner portal This shows the same subscription GUID BUT the Business Central licenses are classified as Common Data Service workload and not Business Central This report shows another subscription for identical licenses is classified as a Business Central workload The problem: The rate used for common data service is much lower than the rate used for Business Central [1000] when calculating the values for partner performance. This impacts our ability to retain our solution partner designations Questions: Anybody else suffering from Business Central licenses attributed to the wrong workload? Anybody got the faintest idea how to convince Microsoft support that the evidence has already been supplied if only they actually analysed it? M365 E3 to E5 Mid-Term Upgrade: Remove duplicated licenses after an upgrade
Hi all, I have a client that would like to upgrade from Microsoft 365 E3 to Microsoft 365 E5. They also have the following additional subscriptions for E3 users that will become redundant after the upgrade: Power BI Pro Microsoft Defender for Endpoint P2 Microsoft Entra ID P2 The upgrade documentation isn't clear and doesn't provide examples as to which subscriptions qualify for cancellation after the upgrade. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/partner-center/create-a-new-subscription?tabs=workspaces-view#remove-duplicated-licenses-after-an-upgrade Will the three subscriptions listed above qualify for cancellation mid-term with the upgrade from E3 to E5? Partner Verification Issues
I am finding it impossible to get through the verification process. Is anyone else struggling? I have a ticket raised however this has not been enough to resolve passing verification. The message I keep being sent is below Please ensure that they are issued within the previous 12 months: Domain registration / Domain invoice at registration or renewal that lists Entity/Username and domain as it is stated on your account. On the support email ticket we have agreed that what I am sending via the partner hub matches what they are looking for, however when I submit the information via the portal they reject it.
