Windows 11 Pluton TPM AIK Enrollment Fails with HTTP 404 — The authority does not exist
Hello everyone, I'm experiencing a Windows TPM/AIK certificate enrollment issue on my ASUS TUF Gaming A14 (FA401WV), and I'm looking for guidance from someone familiar with Windows TPM attestation. System information Laptop: ASUS TUF Gaming A14 FA401WV CPU: AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 OS: Windows 11 Home Single Language, 64-bit, build 26300.9711 BIOS: Version 322, confirmed by ASUS as the latest available for my model TPM: Microsoft Pluton TPM 2.0 Secure Boot: Enabled and active Problem Call of Duty's Secure Attestation Wizard passes the TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot checks but fails to generate the required attestation key. It reports a BIOS firmware update requirement even though my BIOS is already up to date. To investigate the underlying issue, I ran the Windows command below from an elevated Command Prompt: certreq -enrollaik -config "" The request fails during GetCACaps with: HTTP status: 404 Not Found Windows error: 0x80190194 Message: "The authority does not exist." The request is directed to a device-specific Microsoft AIK enrollment endpoint under microsoftaik.azure.net. The failure happens before certificate enrollment completes. Troubleshooting already performed Verified that Windows detects the TPM and reports it as ready. Confirmed that Secure Boot is enabled and active. Checked with ASUS and confirmed that BIOS version 322 is the latest available. Retried AIK enrollment using my phone's mobile hotspot; the same HTTP 404 error persists. Tried the game's enrollment utility, which also produced 0x80072EFD (WinHTTP cannot connect) on a separate attempt. Another laptop using a Microsoft Pluton TPM successfully completed the same certreq -enrollaik -config "" command. I understand that this comparison does not establish the root cause, but I am including it as potentially useful context. Questions Is this a known issue with Windows AIK certificate enrollment for Microsoft Pluton TPMs? What supported diagnostics can help determine why the device-specific AIK enrollment authority returns HTTP 404? Is there an official Microsoft support or Feedback Hub route for getting this investigated by the appropriate Windows TPM/AIK enrollment engineering team? The laptop manufacturer confirmed that BIOS version 322 is the latest available for my device. I can provide the full command output and diagnostic logs through an appropriate support channel. No acces to local Office365 apps with an account which differs from the current windows account
Hi, guys! I'm working with Windows 11 Pro using the Microsoft account ABC. Today I bought a Office 365 Family License - by using another Microsoft account XYZ. I downloaded the local apps successfully... ...but when I start the local app and tried to sign in using the XYZ account, I'm asked for the Windows Hello Pin for the XYZ account - but there is no PIN for that, because the account doesn't exist as a Windows account at this computer at all. Copilot says: "You can sign in to Windows 11 with one Microsoft account and use a different Microsoft 365/Office account for Office applications. Microsoft supports this setup." Uploading PDFs into Whiteboard
With the retirement of the whiteboard app, my company now has to use the web and teams version exclusively. We like to make use of the app specifically because you can upload high quality PDFs on to the board. However, this feature isn’t available on the web and teams version. Are there any plans for the existing versions to have the option to upload locally saved PDFs?
Winre.WIM file went missing - WHY?
I regularly do "create a restore point" and noted that the WinRETools row is "Missing". It says "WinRETools (Missing)". As I do NOT play around with any system files on my PC, how has this item become corrupted. And no, I do not have the Winre.wim file in the System Recovery directory.ISO file download time - crdownload status
I have selected the buttons to download a new ISO file for my Windows 11 computer. I can see that a .crdownload file has been started BUT it's just a few MB. The web says the ISO file is usually a few GB. How do I know that the download is still in progress v/s being stalled/failing/whatever?KB5124010 File History still has problems.
To the Microsoft engineering team I can confirm that File History worked perfectly prior to KB5101684, but following that update and the subsequent KB5124010 / KB5120249 updates, File History has suffered severe synchronization failures—the backup timestamp remains frozen, new and updated files fail to generate Previous Versions, and attempting to Clear Versions triggers an Element not found error; this issue has been reported by users and tech outlets globally, and Microsoft Support agent Vensky has confirmed the engineering team is actively investigating it, so I strongly urge Microsoft to release a resolution in the October 13 Security Patch—if you are experiencing this same issue, please submit a report on Feedback Hub and post your link below to help raise awareness for a speedy fix! This case has been continuously tracked through the Microsoft Technical Support Project (09/23–10/10, specialists Vensky et al.) and Feedback Hub.
