My Surface Pro 9 Surface "SMF Core Driver" does not load. In troubleshooting it, I discovered Surface Diagnostic Toolkit does not recognize my hardware as a Surface device, and the downloadable driver package will not install for the same reason. Is any of this a consequence of my having the current Insider Release Preview OS?26Views0likes2CommentsInstall Issue - Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.26120.2705 (ge_release_upr)
I joined windows insider, and before I start I wanted to note originally only wanted to be in the beta, not the DEV or CANARY builds as I am a beginner. However, at this moment in time, the DEV build downloaded and this build is trying to install, I have clicked download/install multiple times and it takes forever, (I know it takes time but normally is much faster on my device) but when it finally hits 100%, it requests the restart for the update process, whenever my system is rebooted windows update says "Attention Needed" and the install failed. Yet-- when I go to update history this is what shows: Here is what my insider page looks like currently for note: So I am confused and frankly would either like to get this update install gone, or just the beta. Any assistance would be very much appreciated, especially since I am a newbie.3.1KViews0likes3CommentsUpdate windows 11 impossible depuis build 22631.3235
Et la boucle recommence.50Views0likes0CommentsVideo exports not functioning in Windows 11 Insider Preview 26100.1 (ge_release)
For whatever reason, third party video trimmers/exporters simply do not work in this windows version. Every time I export them in the proper format and resolution which I always used to use, they always end up as corrupted .mp4 files with 0 bytes size. I'm fairly sure this is a Windows Insider issue, given games like Roblox also were not launching in past with this issue which I had found a solution to myself. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/xbox/forum/xba_gapp-xbo_gissues/roblox-does-not-launch/3e426fd6-7707-4dd0-8d23-e368288e70d0 Is anyone else facing this issue? Clipchamp works fine because it "downloads" the exported video and does not save it into another folder like the third party apps. Use any apps off the microsoft store for video trimming purposes, they do not work.1.7KViews0likes3CommentsVideos and audio restart after pausing
Hello, Please redirect me if I am not posting in the right area! All paused media restart on their own after about 30 seconds whether the page is up or minimized. This happens on Edge and Chrome but not Mozilla. It also happens on paused videos as well as audio streams like Spotify. I have to close the tabs or navigate away to get them to stop. I have tried updating audio and display drivers but that didn't help (or it says I have the most up to date/best one already --- but should I uninstall some and reinstall?) I tried to find my issue already discussed but no luck so far. I think it started happening a month or so ago but I am unsure @ which update. Thanks! My company has been upgrading devices from Windows 10 to the latest Windows 11 22H2 build and in doing so, we've ran into a weird issue. All printers, whether locally added or Print to PDF, sends all print jobs to the queue as paused and they won't print without manually resuming. We've opened a ticket with Microsoft and the support rep has hit a dead end just like me. The only printers that seems to work just fine are printers from our Printer Server. Everything else manually added via IP using the correct drivers and Print to PDF automatically pauses. The obvious solution would be to add all of the printers to the print server but the other problem is that this also effects USB printers. We use a variety of printer models so the issue isn't manufacturer specific. We've tried to re-add printers with correct drivers, compare GPO between Win 10 / 11, make sure it's not a WSD port, tried different models with different printers, tried RPC registry fixes and GPO fixes... Has anyone else ran into? If so, do you have a fix?2.3KViews1like2CommentsWindows Update error 0x80073712 and 0x8024200B
Good day! I cannot upgrade my windows (even though I would like to) due to two errors: KB5003254: 0x80073712 KB5003637: 0x8024200B I have tried doing all on my power yet I have been unable to fix them. It is becoming increasingly annoying since I didn't even get the newest release with the local weather taskbar icon. If you need to know more information about my system, let me know.10KViews2likes5Comments
