Share a single folder with multiple viewers
Hi, I'm searching what's the right subscription to buy to get this: My requirements: share a single folder (containing 10 million photos) with 100 read-only viewers view photos as gallery different folder password for each viewer not requiring viewers to create an account or log in capability to manually disable the password/access of a user of my choice What package do I need to buy to get this? 365? 365 Family? One Drive Enterprise ? 365 Business Basic ? 365 Business Standard? Other? Thanks
For a multi-person (shared) To Do list, can the same categories be shared on each person's list?
Using a shared To Do list with 2 people. Is there a way that 1 person can label with a category and the other person can see it? The categories I place on the shared list do not show on the list of the other individual I share the list with. I know the category comes from my calendar but we share calendar access. I need both of us to be able to see what category each task has been assigned. If not, is there any other way to organize a to do list except prioritized vs not prioritized?
Shared ToDo deleted tasks > how to restore?
Hello everyone, We share a ToDo with my colleagues and I deleted some tasks by mistake. I tried to restore them but whitout success. I cannot find any place where those deleted items went. I tried a lot a of solutions found on the net but none of them worked. I also point out that those tasks were not mine. So I am looking for some help. Does anyone have an idea or even a solution about that?
Shared folder sync not possible anymore?! Workaround?
Hi guys We are using the OneDrive for Business. (Work) Around 6 months ago, I made a OD share with my colleague from the same organization. He was able to sync this share on his machine with the local OneDrive client. My colleague had a breake for 6 months, during this time he was not working on that share. Today he starts again with the work. We realized that it's not possible anymore, to sync the shared folder (where Im the owner of the share) with his local OneDrive Client. Accessing to the share over web is no problem. Why is that so? Is there a workaround? If not, this fact would make the cooperation work over OneDrive really useless. Shared Contacts/Customers in Bookings
I've been asked by one of our staff if a shared customer list (external clients) would be possible to maintain within the Bookings system. So essentially all members of the Sales team could maintain a central list of contacts. Hello everyone! I am attempting to retrieve all root drive items from a folder, including the 'Shared' property of each drive item. However, even when I explicitly include the 'shared' attribute in my QueryOption object, it does not seem to reflect any changes. It always returns an object with the "Scope" property set to "user", even if the default permissions have not been altered for the item. Interestingly, when utilizing the Delta API, the behavior observed is that only items with set permissions (beyond the default ones) return a valid, non-null "Shared" object with the "Scope" property set to 'user'. Conversely, items without set permissions (i.e., default permissions only) return a null "Shared" object. This difference effectively helps in determining whether each item was actually shared. The reason I need to specifically fetch a list of ROOT drive items for a folder, rather than utilizing the Delta API to track changes (which could potentially traverse through sub-folders and their children/grandchildren on an initial query), is due to the requirement to perform a clean fetch of all items for specific SharePoint site libraries. These libraries often contain thousands of subfolders and files, while we are only interested in the root items of a particular folder for caching purposes. The Delta API variant could potentially take over an hour per folder to traverse through, which is not feasible for our needs. Unless there's a way to restrict Delta API calls to only directly access a root folder's children, I'm seeking alternative solutions. At this stage, I am only in need of a boolean flag indicating whether permissions have been modified or not, as mentioned earlier. My Shared Bookings page has started making the times available for things like 12:30 AM to 7:30AM, which is outside the times I have set as the business hours. I made no changes to the page or the services, this just started happening. I have even deleted and recreated a service to see if it would resolve the issue... it didn't. Any help would be most appreciated! Removed Update: The fix I tried did not work. Please help!
Outlook calendar vs Gmail Calendar
Hello... I am trying to share my calendars within Outlook via Office 365. Here is my dilemma... I need to mimic the same experience as I would within the Google calendars. I am moving from Gmail to Office 365 (for my business) and I have users that have used the Gmail Calendar for years and they want to have a similar experience. They like that view has multiple calendars on the left and you can share the calendar with internal and external people... and you can see all of the calendars in one view. Is there a view and/or group and/or resource and/or setup and/or Sharepoint site that can mimic the look and feel of what Gmail has given my users for years? The thing is... I would like the calendar events/objects to appear within my calendar app on my phone. Is that possible?
