Please Provide Option to Disable "Ask Copilot" in Address Bar
I use Kagi as my default search engine. Recently, I've noticed that if the search string reaches a certain length, the default search option changes from Kagi to "Ask Copilot." See the image below. This is driving me insane! I don't necessarily mind the "Ask Copilot" feature but having it automatically selected when the search string reaches a certain length is unbearable. Please, at least provide an option to turn this behavior off. This is so annoying that I have had to stop searching from the address bar and navigate to the Kagi website for each search.
Searching in To-Do
Are there any places to develop the searching capabilities in MS To-Do? Currently it just seems to search for anything in the subject line. It would be very useful to be able to search across all tasks no matter which list they were in for tasks created/completed on specific dates. It'd also be good to have some advanced searching so you can find all tasks created within a specific month that contained specific words in the title. I appreciate this can possibly be done in tasks within Outlook but would be more useful and simpler if possible within To-Do. Thanks.
SharePoint 2019 on-premise : During site search, on click documents are downloading
Hello, On On-premise 2019, we do have Office Online enabled/installed to open documents within the browser. When I open a document from doc lib, it opens in browser fine. But the same file when I search for it, from the search results page, it automatically starts to download, instead of opening it in browser. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, is it possible to Search in Teams (across all tabs, files and publicaciones** for instance?) And can you search in documents, as you can do in Windows Explorer? I know I can open in Sharepoint and Search there, but this would only be searching in files, wouldn't it? We need GPO setting to block one word address bar search
We have enabled GoToIntranetSiteForSingleWordEntriesInAddressBar and thought this would block single word search in the selected search engine. That is not the case. There should be a setting to block single word search from the address bar. Even better if there was a way to split the bar into old school style url and separate search bar. The reason for this is that the one word searches leak internal server names etc to the search engine. Suggested setting: DisableSingleWordSearchInAddressBar ex. Current behavior: "server123" is typed in the address bar. Edge tries to connect to the server but fails because the server name does not exist. Browser redirects this as a search to the default search engine. expected behavior: "server123" is typed in the address bar. Searching on a SharePoint subsite not working for external users.
Hello We have a portal for collaboration between people working here and customers. This is a SharePoint site with each collaboration space created as a subsite on that site. Each subsite has its own permission groups etc. The issue we're facing, which has been coming and going, is that the search is not working for external users. When trying to debug this I have given an external test account every combination of permissions I could think of, but to no avail. Users who have reported this error report that they can navigate to the files they want to search for, but when entering things in the search bar there are no results. Another strange quirk is that the search field is in different locations for external and internal users. Internal users get their search bar on top, while external users get their search bar above the site navigation Any suggestions? What are some settings that could affect this?
SharePoint Online Search Issue
Hi All, I have the list in SharePoint Online site and only owners can see the results. If we try with other users who is having contribute access, no result is displayed in search result. But that user can see all content only search is not working, so permission should not be the issue and it is happening for all sites in the tenant. Please assist. The out-of-the-box SharePoint usage logs are a great way to get insights on what are most frequently searched terms, queries returning no results, etc. Is there a way I can get these stats by users too. I mean, what has each user tried to search when and whether s/he got the results or not? If not OOTB, does any third party tool assists in getting these stats?
