O endereço email address removed for privacy reasons ainda aparece no meu Microsoft Authenticator. Obrigado pela ajuda!86Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft values a hacker's disposable email more than your email linked to Microsoft for 8 years
My Pc was compromised and my session tokens were stolen . I had security info connected with my email and phone number . I also had passkey setup on both my pc (after reset) and my phone . It took one click for the hacker to remove the security features . They setup their own security info and added a disposable email instead of mine . I was somehow able to log in to the account using my pc passkey , as it was already signed in . First I requested to change the hacker's email to my one , which was useless cause the wait time period was 30 days . But in doing so I locked myself out of recovering the account with the mail that notified me that my security info was changed . I went to account recovery which only allowed me to change the password not the email so its still connected to the hacker's email . My frustration is the hacker can 1 click change my forever linked email since accounts creation . But when i try to do so they prevents me to do that stating that "there was recent security information change and the account will not allow for additional change for 30 years" . I opened up "account recovery form" and filled it out , point to be noted there were no fields where I could enter my details of my problem they just ask some basic information . After sometime they send a mail stating provided information is not enough . How am i suppose to provide more information if there are no fields for additional information . I contacted Microsoft agent , they guided me to reply to the account recovery form mail which did not worked as I was not allowed to reply on such email . I contacted Microsoft agent again , this time they told me I will be getting an email with account recovery form and I should mention every details . Well it was the same recovery form I used earlier with limited fields . I still field out the form and after sometime I was mailed by mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons to provide additional details for my identify , I was again requested to submit an account recovery form on https://account.live.com/acsr?cs=1 which was the same link with limited fields to provide information . I proceeded but in the end I was told that I have reached the daily limit for submitting form for this account . Just to be sure I mailed mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons the requested details .119Views0likes0CommentsM365, Entra ID, Google Password Manager Passkeys
I went into my tenant, opened the Entra ID Admin, and enabled passkeys (fido2) authentication. I want to use Google Password manager since it will work across al my devices/platforms (Windows, Mac, Android, iOS). I went into the security settings for Microsoft 365 account to add an authentication method. I am happy to say that "passkey" is listed as an option, so I created a new passkey in Google Chrome/Password Manager and named it after my userid in the tenant. To test it, I logged out and attempted to log in using the passkey. The option came up, but Microsoft complained it was not a valid key. I tried again stating that I would my phone for the key and scanned the QR code but my phone said there is no passkey I would need to create one. How do I solve this? BTW: I did add Google's AAGUID in the Entra admin and allowed it but that did not solve the issue.Solved488Views0likes2CommentsTrapped in an Authenticator Loop
Dear Community, please help! I am trapped in an Authenticator Loop. I've got a microsoft workplace account, but if I want to log in, I have to type in a code from the microsoft authenticator app. I downloaded the app, but in order to use it, I have to log into my account and in order to do so, I also have to type in a code from the authenticator app, which I don't get, because to get the code I would have to log into the authenticator app, what I would need a code for... No matter which link I click, I can't open anything before I enter the code, which I can't get. I am using teams on mac, either on a firefox browser or on the desktop app and the authenticator on an Iphone. Please don't just tell me "don't use teams on a mac", this wasn't my choice. Unfortunately, my emplyer's IT support also is chronically unavailable. So is here anyone who could help me? I've already gone through the usual deleting the app, using another browser etc. options. I have received multiple unexpected Microsoft Authenticator number-matching requests over the last few weeks. The requests came from different countries (Mexico, France, and Spain), and I denied all of them. I changed my password after the first incident. My password is unique and stored in Bitwarden. I have Microsoft Authenticator enabled, and I do not use passwordless sign-in. The strange part is that these authentication requests do not appear in my Recent Activity page. Is there anything I can do to stop these requests? I came here because a support representative told me to. I appreciate all your help beforehand.283Views0likes2CommentsMicrosoft Feedback Portal account issue
I changed my Microsoft email a year ago, and it updated everywhere other than the Feedback Portal. As a result, I get an error when I try to login, or do anything on the page. Microsoft account support's suggestion was to login to the Feedback Portal which is insane given I'm having issues accessing it. How can I get this issue resolved? I've got three separate support tickets now and they keep asking me to wait 24 hours to get the issue resolved. Can someone from the Feedback Portal team please contact me to resolve this? This is what Microsoft Support have said: "understand your frustration, and yes—this is an account‑related issue because the Feedback Portal is still tied to your old alias, which causes login conflicts and forces you out. Your Microsoft account itself signs in correctly, but the Feedback Portal is pulling outdated identity data that you cannot update on your own. Since you cannot access the Portal to submit feedback, directing you back there is not a workable solution. What you need is for Support to escalate this to the internal Identity/Feedback Platform engineering team so they can manually correct the outdated alias mapping on the backend. In this situation, the Feedback Portal and Tech Community teams are the ones who manage and maintain that specific platform. Because the issue appears on the Feedback Portal side—even though your Microsoft account is working normally—only their dedicated team can make the necessary corrections on their end. That’s why we are guiding you to connect with them through the links provided: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/ or https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback. They will be able to review the portal‑specific account data and assist you further. I understand why this is frustrating. Since you’re unable to stay signed in to the Feedback Portal, I completely see why posting there isn’t possible for you. However, I do need to be transparent: I’m not able to escalate this issue directly to the Feedback Portal team, as they don’t provide internal escalation channels for us and only accept requests through their own platform."355Views0likes2CommentsJourney to Passwordless Authentication Might Include Some Bumps
Microsoft recommends passwordless authentication to help secure Microsoft 365 tenants. The latest is synced passkeys, something that apparently leads to “syncability,” whatever that might mean. In any case, after some struggles, I managed to enable synched passkeys for my iPhone and then started to consider how to remediate user accounts that are flagged with a high-risk (compromised) status when they can’t simply update their password. https://office365itpros.com/2025/12/04/passwordless-authentication/166Views0likes0CommentsLost mfa global admin can not login, no break glass account
No partner or another global admin or break glass account. Yes I know thats a mistake but just need mfa reset for the global admin account. Hi. I have been calling ms support for multiple days, on hold for hours at a time. I know the story about getting hold of the data protection team and there hold times. I can't login to my tenant to open a case since I lost my mfa, changed phones and the restore is not working. Already tried sspr and thats not working either, my backup email is not getting the pin. Anyone as MS that can help open a case vs being on hold for days at a time. txs M267Views0likes1CommentPassword expired for Hybrid Users
Hey guys we have a AVD environment configured with hybrid users working on windows 11 23h2 multiuser session host's in a pooled session host. As access devices we use either Thinclients with IgelOS and the AVD Client or Windows 11 Notebooks with the Windows App installed on it. The users passwords are expire every 3 months. I see in the Azure Log Analytics Log some errors with expired passwords. We have Password Writeback enabled on the Entra ID Connect Server. Is there a way to present the user let's say 14 days ahead that the password is going to expire soon? Many thanks for your feedback Best regards, Marc446Views0likes2Comments
