Hello all - Coming off the recent MCAPS Start for Partners event, I want to make sure you're up on the latest that has come out of the Microsoft partner ecosystem. First, check out this blog post from Nicole Dezen, our Chief Partner Officer, which has a good summary of the announcements. You can also visit our Partner Activation Zone which has additional resources that will aid you understanding Microsoft's direction. A couple items to note: Some of the announcements do not have an impact on the Training Services Partner ecosystem and I want to ensure we don't generate any confusion. Things like the Partner Capability Score and Specializations are currently outside the TSP scope. I can tell you that behind the scenes we're actively working to bring the Frontier Partner vision into Global Skilling, but don't have anything to share with you yet. There was further explanation to last year's announcement about the 6 solution areas moving down to 3. The team made it clear that this was a customer-facing marketing change only and has no impact on requirements, KPIs, benefits, incentives, or specializations. This means that you'll continue to be able to meet the 6 solution areas and you'll received additional benefits for each one that you achieve. For example, if you achieve the Business Applications solution area you'll soon receive the public-facing AI Business Solutions badge. If you then achieve the Modern Work solution area you won't get an additional badge (it's the same as BizApps), but you'll get the benefits associated with achieving the additional area. Same goes for the 3 solution areas that feed into the Cloud & AI Platforms badge. Previous 6 designations/paths New badge Business Applications AI Business Solutions Modern Work AI Business Solutions Data & AI (Azure) Cloud & AI Platforms Digital & App Innovation (Azure) Cloud & AI Platforms Infrastructure (Azure) Cloud & AI Platforms Security Security For those that registered for the event you can review session recordings here: MCAPS Start for Partners Home. If you have any questions about what was announced at MCAPS Start for Partners, please let me know.Fix Implemented - Are You Having Achievement Code Issues?
July 27 - Fix has been deployed. It may take up to 24 hours to propagate through the system. If you don't see achievement code buttons return by Tuesday afternoon Pacific Time, please let me know. Also, make sure you're loading a refreshed version of the page (crtl + r). July 24 - Deployment of fix is now scheduled for Monday, July 27th. July 23 - Fix has been delayed while other fixes occur at the datacenter level. Awaiting details on a new timing for the fix. Will update here when I know more. July 22 - Fix should start rolling out tonight. Please check the course page for the achievement code button (Hit crtl + r to refresh). Please let me know if you still do not see the button after July 23. Thank you. July 18 - Good news today. Engineering has determined the issue, and a fix is coming in the early days of next week. I'll keep you updated when we get the fix implemented. Thank you for your patience. July 15 - our engineering team is not seeing a widespread outage on their side, but they are continuing to investigate. If you are still experiencing an outage please send me a private message (please do not post any PII directly in this thread) with the following: Your partner organization name (+ MPN ID if you know it) Email address you're using to log into your Admin account on Learn Which courses you were previously able to generate codes but no longer can (examples, doesn't have to be all of them) Approximately how long you have not been able to generate the codes I plan to update this thread every 2 days while we investigate the issue. Thank you! July 13 - thanks to all that shared their current achievement code issues. The team continues to investigate but no current time to resolution. July 1 - Hi all, I've seen a few posts regarding sudden issues in generating achievement codes. If this is an issue for you can you please reply to this with the course you're trying to generate and the approximate time you tried to generate? Trying to determine the scope of the problem. If you previously had an issue but it appears to be resolved now, please let me know that as well. Thanks, DanQuestion about Microsoft IT specialist certification, in relation to Coursera.
Please, bear with me, as it took me 3 hours just to get navigated here for help. I am taking IT courses with Coursera. I am not an IT professional...I am trying to change my career and my life. I was taking Googles IT Support Specialist course, but after 4 days of classes, I came across a major roadblock: Outdated information on their QwikLabs setup. The course was at least a year behind, the Demo on how to use Qwiklabs was seriously outdated, and Google has changed Qwiklabs into a "Pay to Create" gimmick that really doesn't work for anyone that is a Student, imo. $25+ to create a project, per project, and then 3 cents an hour while its running, can build up really fast. It was also changes and charges that Coursera was unaware of. So, how does this relate? I want to switch over to Microsoft IT Support courses and certification, but i want to make sure that its up to date, and that i won't run into another "out of the course" pay wall structure, because i really don't have that kind of money to throw around like that. It may not seem like a major deal to alot of people, but I am maintaining two households, on two continents, off one paycheck, and Im a kitchen employee...so Im sure alot of people can relate to how this is suddenly an issue. Can anyone verify how up-to-date that course is, from Microsoft, on Coursera? Im trying to change my life, and its already upsetting finding i wasted a weeks worth of effort. What is the proper way to join TSP?
My company joined MAICPP already. We also filled the TSP onboarding form. However, there is no email send to us. I cannot find any info from the Partner Center too. May I know what is the proper way to join TSP? Is there a website or email address to get in touch with support team?MCAPS Start for Partners Today (July 22)

DanTSP Onboarding and Partner Center Access Questions- GSI Microsoft Partner
Hi There, Quick question regarding our Microsoft TSP onboarding. We submitted our onboarding request on June 5, 2026, but did not receive any updates until today (July 2, 2026), when my Microsoft GSI Skilling Lead helped connect me with your internal team. At that point, someone confirmed that our organization has now been onboarded as a TSP. My question is: Should we expect to see any changes in Partner Center once the onboarding is completed? For example: Should a TSP section or tab become available? Should we now see an option to purchase the TSP Action Pack or is that optional? Are there any Partner Center permissions or configurations that still need to be completed on our side? Additionally, I have a team in South Africa asking me to grant them access to Partner Center so they can manage TSP-related activities and track metrics. Before I proceed, I'd like to understand whether that access is actually required and whether I'm heading in the right direction. Could someone please provide some guidance on the expected next steps and what we should be seeing in Partner Center following the onboarding? Thank you in advance for your help.Join us on June 3rd for the MSLE AI Bootcamps - Copilot Chat Agents for Academics Special Session!

Hello Members, Is there a way to retrieve the Microsoft Learn administrator Outlook account (find the email address) that was used for registering for Learner Achievement Code? Is it possible to check using the MPN Location ID or other details? Thank YouAccess Restricted Error On Partner Center Dashboard
Hi all, As mentioned in the last community call, we're seeing some users get an "Access Restricted" error when they try to access the Training Services Partner dashboard on Partner Center. This is not impacting your KPIs, just your view to those KPIs. Thanks to everyone who messaged me with their details after the call. I've compiled the errors and sent to the engineering team for further investigation. I will update you here when there is news to share.FY26 TSP Community Call Thread
