Hi there, I am using office 365, word version 2310. I just noticed when I begin typing, even one letter, my cursor disappears immediately, and I can only get it back by moving my mouse or press Ctrl. Previously, I think I could see my cursor while typing. Would it be possible to make my crusor visible while typing? I've tried the operations below: 1. turning on/off the 'smart cursoring'. 2. activate/unactivate 'hide pointer while typing' in 'pointer options'. 3. uninstall and reinstall office 365, repair/reset office 365. 4. turning off the HDR settings. 5. changing the display scale in 'display settings'. 6. lauching word in a safe mode. 7. changing the regional settings. None of them works. The funny thing is, when I am typing in Chinese characters, my cursor does not disappear at all, but even if I type one single English letter, the cursor disappears immediately. Additionally, I found the same behaviour when typing in notepad of windows. I know it might be a FEATURE to hide my cursor while typing, but is there any possible solution that I can make my cursor visible while typing? I have an office365 proplus installed The auto-check is always turned OFF. I have created a new word document and saved to Onedrive, whenever I go to one drive and open in-app to edit, Autosave is turned off so I will have to manually be turning it ON I have gone to file>options>save>Autosave OneDrive and Sharepoint is checked I have gone to file>options>advanced>save and it is checked I have reinstalled and uninstalled, removed all Add-ins I have resynced Onedrive and all connected services are connected79KViews0likes11CommentsOffice Add-ins error: Cannot connect to catalog
One of our admin-managed add-ins (Adobe Sign) has gone AWOL from the ribbon of the Word desktop app recently (it still shows up in the web-app version of Word). One of the suggested troubleshooting steps is to check review the Office Add-ins from within the app itself. When doing so, I receive an error: Insert ribbon-->Add-ins section-->My Add-ins-->See all...-->Admin Managed "Cannot connect to catalog" I've tried: signing out, back in, clearing the Office cache, and redeploying the add-in from central management. The deployment always reports that it was successful. Hi Experts I am trying to add a second page to this template: https://www.averyproducts.com.au/template-l7164 However I try to add a page, the template boxes disappear off the first page, and appear on the second. What I want is a 2-page document - 2 pages exactly like the template. What I've tried: Adding a page/page-break with Insert menu Cut and paste the whole page Put cursor in the last field, and press tab In all cases the outcome is the same. Hi everyone, I have an Office 365 Subscription and so I use the online version of Word for my work, I've done so for a number of months. All of a sudden today all of my maths equations stopped rendering. Now all I see, if I try to use the equation editor, is a grey box that says [Equation]. This is true for new documents and also all of my old documents that included equations. I've tried logging in and out again and tried on Chorome and Safari. I dealt with this frustrating issue for over a year, but here's how you can fix it. Example image: How to fix: 1. Make sure Finder is open and all office apps are closed, including Microsoft Word. 2. Click on "GO" in the top bar. 3. Once the drop down menu descends, hold down the OPTION key on your keyboard. You'll see that a folder called "LIBRARY" appears. Click on "LIBRARY". 4. Once inside "LIBRARY", click on a folder called "CONTAINERS." 5. Scroll down until you find a folder called "com.microsoft.Word". 6. Once you've found it, delete "com.microsoft.Word" off your computer. 7. Now, reopen Microsoft Word, and make sure the upload pending error message is gone. It should be, and you should now be able to delete the file if you so choose. Also, if you're experiencing this problem with Excel and/or Powerpoint, you can probably fix it the same way. You'd just have to delete "com.microsoft.Excel" and/or "com.microsoft.Powerpoint" respectively, instead of "com.microsoft.Word". All the steps leading up to that would remain the same. I really hope this helps other people who are dealing with this problem. And if for some reason it doesn't work for you, reach out to Microsoft support while signed into your Microsoft account and get into a chat room. Hi I wish mircosoft Word had remote help ... I have a couple of issues with my mail marge document which i am trying to make labels to print on to a sticker. Good morning, please I have a serious problem. I am doing my thesis, and for this I created a multilevel list, up to 5 levels. Title 1 was: CHAPTER I: Title 2 was: 1.1. Title 3 was: 1.1.1. Title 4 was: 1.1.1.1 Title 5 was: 1.1.1.1.1. You can see below. But suddenly I don´t know what happened, after clicking here. When I clicked there, that stick or black rectangle was put in place of what I had put. I feel like I lost all the work I did in one day editing the numbering and layout. I have a 90 page document in word 365 on a sharepoint. All of a sudden my table of contents are not being updated. I can't see anything out of the ordinary that would cause this to happen. I tried copying the text (and images) into a word document. When I do that I lose all my headers formatting. I then tried removing the table of contents and adding it back in. What is the best way to distribute corporate templates for new Office documents to users? I already know about the possiblity to use a shared network folder and setting the workgroup templates location in Word. However I was wondering if there is a better way which is more integrated into SharePoint/Office 365. We would prefer to have a central repository in SharePoint/Office 365. Does anyone have experience with OneDrive synced libraries used as template location? (I am not interested in 3rd party solutions.
