Picture & picture using two camera sources concurrently
Teams does not support picture & picture from two camera sources concurrently at present. Why not? As a trainer who uses Teams, I would love to be able to use our Surface Hub 2S to present to the room yet attach a second camera via tethered USB to show my physical interactions using my hands with the equipment I am training my attendees about. (i.e. top-down camera of hands) Not everyone is physically present plus recording the sessions to be available in Stream on our training Sharepoint. I can use other software such as OBS with two sources and then capture in Teams but I shouldn't have to. Surely this is a feature for those who use teams in a hybrid classroom environment are crying out for.
Improve readability of Task Chat in new Microsoft Planner (full-width option needed)
Hello, First of all, thank you for the new Planner experience and the introduction of Task Chat. I think it’s a very welcome improvement over the legacy comments system, because it allows to edit already posted comments. However, there is a significant usability issue that is affecting our daily work: 👉 The Task Chat is displayed in a narrow side panel, which makes reading longer conversations difficult and inefficient. In many real scenarios, task discussions are not just short comments. They often include detailed explanations, decisions, or back-and-forth exchanges between team members. The current layout forces users to read long messages in a very constrained width, which reduces readability and slows down collaboration. Suggested improvement: (preferred) Provide an option to expand Task Chat to full width -maybe another button like the one that already exists for 'Comments'- (or open it in a larger, dedicated view) Alternatively, allow resizing of the chat panel Even a “pop-out” experience (similar to Teams chat) would be helpful This would significantly improve usability, especially for teams, like mine, that rely heavily on Planner for collaborative work and decision tracking. ReFS could become a bootable filesystem — it only needs a few missing layers. No need to copy NTFS, just implement what the Windows boot process requires. Key missing pieces: System‑level journaling (not only metadata) Full hardlink + extended attribute support EFS, ACLs, USN Journal for security + Windows Update Boot‑critical atomicity for safe system file updates Bootloader‑compatible APIs (BCD, BitLocker pre‑boot, WinRE, Secure Boot) Goals: Use NTFS as a reference map, add the missing capabilities to ReFS, and optimize them using ReFS features (copy‑on‑write, integrity streams, block cloning). Result: A modern, resilient filesystem that can finally boot Windows - without losing its benefits.
Export tool for Edge Collections before deprecation
Microsoft is deprecating the 'Collections' feature in Edge, but there is currently no export option available for personal Microsoft accounts. This creates a serious problem for users who rely heavily on Collections for research, organization, and long‑term workflows. In my case, I have 166 main Collections, each containing dozens of items. Migrating this manually is simply impossible/undoable. ‼️ Please Microsoft: provide an official export tool (HTML, JSON, or migration to Favorites/Bing Saves) before removing the feature. Without this, users risk losing years of structured work and saved content. I hope I'm writing in the right place, I couldn't find any other modes: I would like to report the lack of pip mode in viewing videos on OneDrive on iOS It would be very useful to be able to multitask open other apps while watching a video but, sending the works the video pauses. I know this question has probably been posed a thousand times, but is there anything on the Teams feature roadmap, that will allow the ability to use the native desktop client (Mac or Windows) to switch between Organizations, and just one main Org the rest as "Guest" (i.e. if the user has a full M365 license in more then one tenant)?
